folks,

today there will be songs of golden era( those who dont know what is that , please refer to a post by n sinha)..

lot of peopel are attempting good songs but the difficult ones are:

amey is attemtping "laga chunri mein daag"

monali attemtping "piya tose naina laagey"

meenal "nigahein milane ko je chahta hai"

antara "tere bina jiya jaye na "

priynaksa and karrena are star guests..and priyanka is singing " tinka tinka " from "karam".. this is a chance where we can see ki II2 can match upto SRGMP

doubt....I dont see that much potential in ..let's see

Zee's saregamapa is more interesting....

amey 's performance: superb....well only SRGMP finalist can sing that well..

monalis' "piya tose naina laage na".. i really liked it but i couldnt see why sonu didnt like it at all..it was not so bad...but again if sonu's is saying something, it must be having some reason..

antara's "tere bina jiya jai na".. as again she got a refreshing voice but she need to work hard on her control..long way to go..

karunya's "aey meri zohra.".....well as rightly pointed by adwarkanath, it is a easy song , the the first alaap was difficult and he sang it good..

meenal's "nigahein milane ko jee chahta hai:..it was good in patches but she had the range to sing that song so may be after littl emore riyaaz she can do good jsutice to this song...

rest dont deserve to get discussed on this forum as we all agree the standards are very high...

but where do i go if i have to compare the singers..if go to II2 forum, we cannot discuss srgmp and srgmp forum u cannot discuss II2.. there is no joint forum for this 😭.. so i had to start with one and sbove all i doubt i can get good critical analysis anywhere else other than this forum...

Straightaway,my vote is for Amey.He is par excellence than others.Karunya & Meenal r also good,and others are bekar yaar.

Amey sang Manna Dey's song,Laga chunri mein daag and he did the tarana also so well.No one can even attempt it or think of singing that that 2 with the tarana.Hats off 2 today's Amey's performance.I think in II2 he's the only one but u know the most besura and boring one,that's Sandeep gets highest votes.

Amey has learnt music frm Suresh Wadekar and he has also done many stage shows with O.P.Nayyar and Suresh Wadekar.

Lets see.😊.Today's II was a little better .😊

Haan,abhi and Amey was the best.I think he's too good 2 compete with others.He never becomes besura but all others always r besura,except Karunya & Meenal but Meenal was also besura today.

Amey was far better than Karunya.😊

i agree with you... as we all know amey also participated in SRGMP.. you need guts to participate in SRGPM..... 😉

Well now a days , all MDs are looking for more disitinctive voice quality rather than control..as control can be covered with today's gizmos... Amey's voice quality is also different if not entirely different.. looks like the way anu malik praises antara, she wll get some offers..i 100 % agree she doesnt have good control but somehow her voice had a differece..same goes with monali..out of all the three meenal has the best control ( though far behind than nihira or himani )but her voice quality doesnt have that distinction...

regarding sandeep , though he is a clone of udit narayan , but beleive me to be a clone of udit narayan is not easy.... though he has to work very hard to get even 20 % of the control what Amey has...however..jsut hthink about it...if he manage to get out of his udit narayan voice, slightly change it to give a different mould.. i bet we will have a very very different and distinct voice for our ears......
