Hi friends... I'm back, and this time, with the complete story. It goes like this:

The story first starts with allegations against V R accepting money for blanking out. They ask V the real reason and he retaliates: Don't you know... Its already in the media and I took money... 2 crorers.. so why ask again? Then he mellows down: Why will I take money for such a cheap thing? My inner self will never forgive me if I do it. (He speaks something more on this)

Then the correspondent starts with the real story: The real story behind V-R elimination goes like this. When Varun backed out, The judges didnt know what to do. When it was confirmed that V's blanking out was genuine and nothin goofed up, they spoke to the Programme heads. They had a discussion and it was decided that they shud be given another chance.

Farhan & Saroj ji informed V-R to re-perform. Initially V R refused but when Saroj ji and Farhan forced them they were ready. But then the actual blow happenned. When asked the 2 fello contestants, Manish Poonam agreed instantly but Sachin refused...

They say that initially, when V blanked out, in the jist of the moment, Sachin asked them to reperform. But when actual time came for decision, he outrightly refused.

Sarojji was quiet unhappy with this act of Sachin. According to her: One couple did not allow them a 2nd chance. And That's not fair. Why do we have diff rules for diff people... twice Poonam ran out of stage due to nervousnes... but we called he rback and she performed. Once Shilpa was not in a mood to perform so we asked her to perform later.. then why not V R? They were genuine.

Another couple who did not want to be named said Sachin Supriya would have won anyway as they were favs. But Sachin did not do fair... he should have given V R a chance.

Manish says he had no hassles giving them another chance as they deserved it. He added: Initially he was Sachinji for all of us. But gradually, many realized that he was only sachin.

When asked Rajeshwari abt Sachin, she said that he was his rakhi brother... My 1st Marathi movie was with 3 leading actors and Sachin was one of them and he only was directing it. Since then I address him as Sachin bhai (sumthin like this... I forgot 😕)... Alhough we dun meet a lot, but I never missed going to his house on Raksha bandhan. What he did to me was his decision... When asked if R will tie rakhi this time: Tht is personal and I wont comment on it.

Sachin on the orher hand says: This competition was like an exam, if u fail once.. u dun get another chance to which Manish (or the correspondent added): Sachinji shud understand the difference between Exam and a competition... and more importantly the spirit of a competition. If others got a 2nd chance, V R deserved too.

Sachin's attitude was not liked by many and that is the reason, when they won, there were 7 couples among the 10 who did not congratulate them on their victory!

Well friends... thats the story and I feel sorry for V R. They deserved to win!!! And I'm touched by Manish & Poonam who, although knew that if V R perform they will have less chances to go into finals, agreed instantly to give them a 2nd chance.

Luv 'n Light

yeah i saw Farhan and Saroj were too disturbed, very shocked and sad, although they tried to appear cool and sachin shouldnt have been allowed to take final decision, if others were given chance and that by channels decision , same sud have been with varun-rejeswari...as v-r are very
dignified and wont perform even if it was upto them, if they wished to perform even after sachin's uncompfort , they cud have. anyway for me , they r the best and for most, getting more than 30 by rules comes to 30 i know, but it just shows how far can v-r impress others and that even the full mark were too lil for them. my point is allow them to be treated equally by giving another chance, if after that ss wins no problem.

I am glad SS won. Crybabies like P-M and Varun shouldn't participate in future competitions given their childish attitude. I am sure whoever wins NB2 will also have to deal with the same kind of pathetic sour grapes!

BTW, the only other times participants had been given 2nd chances was :

Shilpa- she slipped on a scarf dropped by a previous contestant and
Poonam- she got nervous and refused to perform but after encouragement, she performed.

Both these instances were very different from what happened to Varun. Anyway, given Varun's attitude, I have no respect for him. I am glad he lost. Raajeshwari is amazing- she deserves a better life partner.

Hi there...

Well, it was not a cover story that V R planted. It was done by Showtime to get to the two sides of V R ouster. And Sarojji herself admitted that the others were given a chance... It was not me who fabricated the story 😉... Infact there was another story in the Showtime that had Sachin's earlier adopted daughter speak and her story started with "Sachin used me as his vote bank"... too bad sachin (ji???)

And I think the other way round... wish V R had won. 😭

No hard feelings buddy!!!

No hard feelings indeed by any of us in the Forum. After all, we can support only those candidates whom we like. But in most cases, wedon't have any intimate knowledge abt any of them - so i think its very difficult to take sides on a personal level.
Yes, there may have been instances when 2nd chances were given to candidates, but not when they stopped dancing midways. It wld definitely have gone against the basic farmework of the Show.
ALso if it was so important and it being a Judges' Round, all the way, the decision of the channel and the judges shld have taken precedence and importance.Participants shld not be involved in any way.
Also, if V-R decided not to go for a second take, then why its mentioned that they agreed after some bit of cajoling and convincing. One shld stick to principles, no matter what.

Good point there buddy... I agree to some of it.

Regarding 2nd chances...hmmm... they say Poonam ran away from the stage... well that is also sumthin like stopping during the dance ...(I hv no hard feelings for her..infact I like her more for her generousity)... and she ran away twice.... So I guess varun shud have been given a chance..

And V R initially decided not to take a 2nd chance. But when they were told that it was not sumthin goofed up and the channel can give them a chance and since senior judge like Saroj ji forced them, they agreed...

And it was V R's decision that they will go ahead only if the other 2 contestants agree to their reperforming... Well this was their mistake that they put such condition...

Anyways.. Lets not fight over this... we are unaware of it... Its my personal opinion that V R shud have got another chance.. 😃...

there are always people who are going to do anything for the win...i'm sure money means more to them then being able to be civil with these people when they see or work with them next.

Be assured that if their destiny doesn't come in way, V-R will go a long way. And they shld, since both of them are very talented. I liked Varun right from the days he started acting in Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand and then Astitva. In fact, I was very happy to see him in the movie - Mein, Meri Patni Aur Woh.
What i really meant to say all through is that since giving a second chance or anything like that is always a crucial decision, the organisers sld be involved in making these decisions. Participants shld not be allowed to be involved at any cost whatsoever. This will maintain the sanctity of the Show.
I supported S-S from 1st round, but i wldn't be sad to see them lose if any other worthy couple had won. That's why its very essential to keep participants apart from the proceedings. I think the organisers of NB shld try to resolve these issues before moving onto the second season.
And, definitely, no hard feelings towards anybody. I like this Forum b'cos it provides a fair chance to everybody to air their views. And views need not be similar. Thats why these exchange of views are so fascinating. Thanks everybody. 👏 👏 👏
