Even I was shocked at why was Amrita not chosen by Geeta. Her performance was excellent and the way she performed even before means she is a good dancer. I hope Geeta does not regret her decision later.

I think it was a very big injustice that Geeta chose Tina over Amrita. I was shocked. I found Tina's dance to be a typical filmi number that anyone can pick up off the streets (no offense meant to Tina). These type of dances are a dime a dozen. I don't see how Tina made it this far, honestly. Again, no offense meant to her, I am just comparing her with Amrita. Amrita clearly worked hard and deserved to be selected. The steps/chreography that Tina did in the "Rhinga Rhinga" number were ones that anyone can make up as they go along dancing to that song. Yes, she had tons of energy but in my opinion the dance looked very cheap and she looked like a bar dancer. I felt like crying with Amrita when she said in the mini interview that she's lost all hope.
Please forgive me if I sound harsh or offend anyone, but I'm just stating my opinion. I did not enjoy any of Tina's performances.
On the other hand, I was very overjoyed to see Nikitasha, Meenu, Shruti, and Bhavna get selected.

I think judges play the game very well and often it's not just about how you perform but how the mentors see themselves shaping their contestants into great dancers based on what they do best.
Maybe it was Teena's song choice that saved her but Amrita was very deserving so it's a shame that we might not see her again.
I think Teena has a looong way to go when it comes to expressions. She looks quite flexible but I'm not sure she'll be able to prove her versatility.

i too wondered what geeta had in mind while choosing tinaover amrita ....agreed amrita would stress out a lot, stm which was evident during her dancing too but im sure that could have been worked upon....tina is a good dancer as well but compared to amrita shes not so versatile....
the way geeta was talking abt how amrita already had a sound career in teaching dance, somehow i think thats wat influencedd her but then why did she choose dharmesh???? wierd
btw i hope that dharmesh's talent is not wasted in geetas grp....man it would b a total shame :(

I think it was deliberate effort to let Amrita go. Binny's final performace may not have been exceptional but her previous performances have been up to par and she is a good candidate for versatility. So i won't disqualify her. Teena over Amrita is a shock. But I strongly believe that Amrita will be back during Wild card entry. Geeta is smart enough to recognize that during the first few rounds it will be the members in her gang that get eliminated... cuz the stronger dancers are mainly in the other two groups save for very few. So if she has to remain in the game for long her group needs to gain entrants during the wild card entry. By eliminating Amrita now she has invested in her future on DID. As for why she chose Dharmesh....i was also surprised that she would do that considering that Dharmesh clearly said he'd like to be in Remo's team during the auditions... but i guess she prefers him because he always puts his own choreography into his dances. She'll have a more interesting act with him in her group.

Oh ! I am not sure why everyone is talking about Teena over Amrita. It wasn't like that. Yes, they came as pair, but there were incidences where both contestants in a pair were chosen. They had to select 6 out of 3 regardless of who came out as pairs.
So, IMO, Geetha could have chosen Amrita over Shruti.
