Geeta's Final 3...

Geeta chose her girls today. But the thought that still lingers my mind is that : Was Binny better than Amrita? I thought Amrita, the girl who did Manipuri in the last was exceptional and was a strong contender but I was shocked that she was not selected. I don't know what criteria did Geeta have in choosing, but this girl was good in all the dances. I am truly disappointed that she was not chosen, I thought she is one of the girls the choreographers are vying for to keep her on their team. Maybe I am wrong, dunno, but I personally feel this girl deserves to be in the top 18 and being a standby is not giving her justice for what she has presented so far...I am also sad that Dharmesh is chosen by Geeta, last time too Geeta jumped at taking Siddhesh and didn't do justice with him, I hope it doesn't happen to Dharmesh this time. His face went down for a sec when Geeta chose him and then he recovered soon. What are your thoughts?...

I so agree on this. I was shocked to see that Amrita did not make it and Dharmesh made it to Geeta's team. I like Binny too though. I think it more has to do with Amrita;s personality than her dance. She is an excpetional dancer. She seems to be little low on confidence. Last time when she hung her face after the performance, Terence ended up saying that she rocked it. One needs to have a good amount of self confidence too at this point of the show. Since it shows in your performance too. But my guess is that she will be back as wild card entry.

Also they seemed to have changed the format. Coz in Season 1, the judges were given the contestants only after the TOP 18 were chosen. And Mithun chose who would go to whose team. This time the mentors made their choice. Wonder why?

I was shocked that Amrita wasnt picked too!
I guess they didnt pick amrita because of her low confidence...Terence said that they were looking for a dancer who had the desire to learn. I have no idea on what basis Geeta didnt choose Amrita.
Maybe it had to do with scores from the other performances?


BUT, i like Binny....i thought she was good :)
And if i had to pick, i'd choose Binny over Amrita....Binny is like a happy kind of person & Amrita gets all depressed after dancing. I would like to see her have some desire & happiness after performing.

I really wanted to see him in Remo's
He would be really good at hip hop :(

SAS I agree with you, Amritas personality was a little off, she always had those depressing expressions. But as a dancer I think she was fantastic. and yeah looks like the format again has changed to suit some. And again looks like someone got their pick...

i think terence too was very very shocked....zee showed his shocked face a few times. I agree with terence and remo's choices. It is good that Amrita is not in geeta's group becoz whoever is in geeta's group, has no chance due to geeta's choreography.

i totally agree....and was thinking the same thing as to why amrita was not chosen...i thought she was a awesome dancer and wanted her to be chosen over the girl that was ultimately picked....

I didn't understand the choice of the 3 girls/boys to be sent to be picked by the mentors.

Similarly in Terrence's team I felt Kruti was a wrong choice though she did classical.

I agree to Remo's choices and Meenu is/was awesome.

Personally, i thought that Amrita was one of the best dancers out of all the grls in all the teams, i was shocked tht she wasnt chosen! Shes shown versitality and cleanliness in all her performances weve seen so far. While the other grl, was not that good [for me-no offence].

I really dont know what basis she chose the contestants on but Amrita really did deserve to get it. Wasnt she 25? :(

I would pick Amrita over Tina...for some reason i didnt really like Tina

I kinda liked Shruti...she had the attitude and is good at hip hop :)
Theres not always a lot of girls that do hip hop

& i think that Geeta had to choose the girls based on scores from all the performances put together. Cause she really was upset to let Amrita go..

Amrita was excellent in dancing other than her after dance tension! Geeta is probably looking for girls who will be able to do bollywood style better, so chose Teena over her. But anyway, I dont think contestants have much scope of great choreography with Geeta as their mentor, other than classical form. Bollywood style seems to have the same kind of steps again and again.
