On this day, I make a wish upon a star, that all your dreams, from the smallest ones to the biggest one, from the silliest dream to the most well-thoughtout one come true. That life brings you all the happiness, love, joy, and blessings that you deserve and more. I'm definitely not good when it comes to telling people how much I appreciate them, I know it, I think it, and somehow I just expect that the person will know and understand how much they mean to me. Well, let me just say, Sarina, that 2009 was our year. ;) We went from two ajnabees to wifeys in merely eleven months, I believe.
Jokes apart, are virtual marriage apart, let me just say that you're one heck of a gal. Before I actually came on to DM, I had heard of you, of how awesome RTH is, and I was honestly curious. Much time passed and one day, thanks to someone here *ahem*, I found myself in DM. I remember that it was at the same time that you became viewbie. In fact, my dear, that was the very first time we spoke to each other ' in your congratulatory thread that Anshu had made when you were first given the viewbie position. Bet you didn't remember that. Hehe. Anyways, the rest is history, I remember reading your posts and being in complete awe of you, wondering how the heck one manages to become such a walking/talking encyclopedia. Despite all our differences in our beliefs, despite our debates and discussions, and sometimes arguments, I always walked out of a topic with more respect for you than ever before. It was not just your hold on words that managed to impress me, it was how open you were to everything, and how much respect you had for other people's beliefs. It is not just enough for us to say that we respect someone else's opinion, we really, with all our hearts, have to believe and live by that too. And although there are not many people out there who truly respect others, you are definitely one of them.
Although you claim yourself to be from Hades, demon-ish, and perhaps even the Dark Lord himself ;), I honestly think that you're one of the most compassionate, caring, and genuinely sincere human beings on this planet. It is not often that one comes across such a gem of a person in their lifetime, but when we do, the least we can do is appreciate them for who they are and for all they're worth. It breaks my heart to think that you were 'scared' of me, because (confession time), initially I thought you were very intimidating. I made posts and flew out of DM at the speed of light, knowing if I got into a debate with you, it'd take us days to come out of it. Haha, but you never failed to spare me, and we were always in some sort of discussion or another. Looking back, I am more than grateful for those debates, because each day we learned and discovered more about each other than ever before. Neither of us makes friends easily, but when we do, we know that these friendships will last, and here's to our's ' may it last a long, long time. :)
Sorry babes, you don't get a week long birthday, only 24 hours of celebration for you, but my dear, I hope with all my heart that you make something of those fabulous 24 hours and that each hour is more special than the rest. Here's to you ' may you always be the same jolly, sarcastic, and totally adorable person that you are.
