Vidya Balan and Sabyasachi combo

I know some of you girls follow the blog High Heel Confidential. I do too, and have been watching with interest their posts on Vidya Balan in her Sabyasachi attires.

I've been totally impressed with Vidya's "makeover" if you will. I like her new classic Indian beauty styles, and the way she wears her hair and clothes. I think Sabyasachi's designs really remind me of something timeless and truly Indian. I think I'm in love. 😳

Now all of Vidya's experiments have not been hits but these are the ones I truly like:






IMO I think Vidya looks best when she looks casual. Loud and experimental fashion styles just don't suit her at all, the way it might suit someone like say, Sonam Kapoor. Sonam has the pose to rock really high-fashion clothes, so does someone like Bipasha Basu. But Vidya's speciality is being able to carry off these "vintage" look clothes with a rare elegance that's truly unmatched. I hope we see more of the same from her! 😊



This last one is so lovely. I think it suits her in a really unique way. Can't imagine this looking good on any other celeb, except maybe Ash or Preity Zinta because they also have slightly understated, "classic beauty" type of profiles like Vidya.
