Without further ado...lets get to the episode!
- Jai is riding in with contestants on the DID song. (I love the music! Its so exciting! ) Announcer comes on and explains the auditions and how its being done through 18 cities around the world, (I think its 18-- not to good with the indian numbers 😆), while Terrance, Geeta, and Remo ride in. This is Varodra auditions!
- First contestant is Debjan Bhomik, from Jabalpur, who comes last season auditions and made it to the top 100, but didnt make the final cut, and is very confident this time. He dances classical to an upbeat type song. Then breaks into a western type dance. (Eh..he dont seem great ). Geeta comments: not much improvement from last year, and went off beat in the start. Not clean in movements and western was not great. She says no. Remo says: This season is tough, and no. Terrance: He is not the BEST, and says no. Debjan says: he didnt have his parents support this time unlike last year. His mother used to tell him that the students coming to learn classical dance from him decreased from last year, and he asked his students why, it was because they wanted to learn WESTERN dance. And he gets onto somehow questioning whether SALMAN deserved to WIN last year! Remo says he has NO right to say such a thing, and if he wanted to prove himself why did he even TRY western style? Debjan says he will show the dance in full classical if they allow it. (Ooh so why didnt he just get to the point of asking for another chance .. instead of saying all that! 😆).. Terrance says he is only given once chance, and a NO. Debjan leaves and says after leaving, when interviewed, that if he were asked to do classical he would do it great, and he admits not being great at western. DID is the superstar of India and India is about INDIAN forms, but no one focuses on that. (Honestly? SHUT UP DUDE -- y did you even try western then?) He says india isnt gonna move ahead if we follow western thoughts. (🥱 Whatever?)
- Back to the other contests. Everyone is being shown outside and announcer talks his announcer type talks 😆. Geeta inside says next contest: Girl is shown dancing to Tere Naam se jeelo - KK. Remo: Prepare yourself and come next time. Next contest: a guy 🤣 DONT KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING...Remo laughs! 😆. Terrance asks him how many years has he been getting trained and he says 3! .. (Dont seem like it 😳). They say next time! Next contestant: Another few laughs! 😆 One guys stops dancing and falls in a crack! .. They ask if he okay and he says yeah. Basically announcer comes on and says everyone outside is tensed since the judges standards are so high. Everyone is nervous.
- Next contest: Bini Sharma, from Ahemedebad. She comes last time, and she didnt get in. She practiced A LOT and has tried to make herself up to level so she can come to DID season 2 and ROCK IT. She comes to dances on some wierd mix but its hiphop dance and she does GREAT. Remo starts off about how she came last year and made it to last 40. Geeta acknowledges her weight loss and Bini says she found it difficult to dance with excess so she lost weight first. Terrance says her dance was crisp but at points with pop lock it was weak. They all say NO! Geeta says its the level of the season that she didnt match. They bring KAMLESH PATEL out to show her what level they are talking about! Kamlesh dances. (Seriously? I mean no offense.. he is VERY good for the fact he is disabled but honestly..if thats the level they want...?😕 He is really good..but..hmm..🤔 ). Then Geeta says the reason why they cant give her the taqdeer ki toppi is because that right is for Kamlesh ji! 😛 OO! Okay.. so its his right to give her the hat! She is accepted! 👏 (..tu aaj naya toofan jaaga! India DANCE INDIA DANCE! ) Binu shows her excitement outside! Shes the first contestant to be accepted from Varodra! Inside everyone thanks Kamleshji for coming.
- Next they show Kamleshji's A-V. He explains how he did shows and all. Ever since Mithun da put on the Taqdeer ki toppi on Kamlesh, Kamlesh'a Taqdeer has changed! Aww! 😳 He wishes luck to all DID contestants!
- After the break, more contestants are shown. Then announcer intro's to Meenu Panchal..she came last year but during her second round of auditions she forgot her steps, she froze. (Oh yeah! i remember her..!) Meenu comes in, sets up and performs to Raat ke dhai baaje and then switched song into Rangeela Re. (She does pretty good! 😃). Geeta starts about last times auditions and asks if she will cry this time like last time, but she says no cause this time she is confident. Geeta says there is some improvement from last time and this time she is more impressed and a YES from her. Remo: yes there is improvement and he says yes as well. Darmesh sir gave her her training and she says yes sir. Remo tells her to stop saying yes sir and come and take her TOPPI! 👏 YAY!
- Announcer dude comes on and intros this girl who cries cause her CD isnt working! (Aww! 😳). She cries cause no one has a CD, and she isnt a trained dance that she can dance on anything off the top of her head. Her name is Bhanu from Rajasthan. She was happy at the beginning, and then they show her A-V from earlier. She shows her JUNOON with dance. Announcer says that finally her CD began to work and she went in for her auditions! She dances and wow does she dance! 👏... Choli ke peeche song with a bit of remix. She is done, and waves hi the judges. Blows a few kisses and then says "Chaloo aab keecho meri! 😆". "Bohaat phaat raaki hai saab ne! 😆". Anyways she is really positive and comedic. Terrance says she is lacking in variety but has great energy and all. Bhanu explains that she isnt doing any "emotional atyaachar" 😆 on them but she hasnt learned anything really. (😆 Ahh this girl is soo funny!) . Her parents didnt let her come and all. Geeta and them say that they will do a second test for her to see if she is selected. Its called the "Tandoo Pareeksha Round" The point is to see how quick she can learn something. Bhanu says she doesnt know about this pareeksha but she will rock the show with her own style and Mithun daa himeself will dance in salute to her! 😆They put her on for Tandoo Pareeksha, so they will call her back I guess.
- Next contestant comes on a guy that belly dances 😕..he isnt that bad..haha..They say very nice for him. After him a dude dances on Love Aaj Kaal song, and they are impressed. After him yet another dude and judges thing he deserves it. A lady comes and does RASJASTHANI folk with fire pot and glass break dance . Break dancer comes and he says Dharmeshju taught him. A classical girl comes and also dances well! A guy comes dances to Kishore Kumar song! Also very good and they say "Take it and Go" for him! (DID song).
- Meetu Chaudary comes and dances kinda Belly dance and more the "Maaya Maaya" type dance. Song is Mehbooba. She does really well! She is also taught by this Dharmeshji! She does MINDBLOWING well! They say take it and GO! She takes a while to understand! 😆.
- Another round of a few funny contestants! Its truly funny! Then this next contestant: Tarang comes and break dances and he does brilliant as well! He is in!
- This one dude comes on and HE DANCES AMAZINGLY!!! Like tooo good! Break dances and its BRILLIANT! Remo says thats what I call a performance! Terrance asks if he was trained by Dharmesh sir, and he says I AM DHARMESH! 🤣 They all are too impressed and give him his TOPPI! 👏 BRILLIANT guys MUST WATCH!
- More contestants shown. Dude comes on and dances to Missy Elliot song. He is told to come next year. Then a round of contestants are shown that want blessings from their masters and autographs and all.
- A girl comes up and dances greatly to Himesh song and remix to Yeah by Usher. She is TOO GOOD! Then remixes to a punjabi song! (I AM LOVING THIS LITTLE GIRL! 👏). They loved her, great style, steps, flow, and attitude! But she is only 13!!!! 😭 They get upset now cause why are they sending people if there is an age limit. It isnt fair for them to dance so great, and not be able to take them! 😭 The little girl gets tears, and Geeta is really sorry and upset. Remo proudly says that SHE wont have to wait for 2 years, THEY will wait for her for 2 years! (Nicely said! 👏). Announcer says Archi didnt get it but they show such young dancers cause they want to point out to viewers that dance has no age limit and all. (Thank you announcer ji "Baashaan" ke liye! 😆)
- Next contestant: Amar and Akangsha. They couple dance on Tu hi re! 😳 Aww!! It was beautifully performed. Terrance liked the concept and choreography. Amarjeet was good and he should go but Akangsha wasnt as good so she should go. Geeta says pretty much the same. Remo says that they werent that impressive but the guy can go but not girl. Amar tries to convince the judges that she is good but judges dont think she is ready. Amar is excepted. Interview with Jai outside.
- Geeta says next and this guys comes and he dances. Does more stunt type dance, and isnt too bad. His name is Yash. His dream was to mainly see the three (T, G, R) and if he goes ahead he will work hard. Terrance says that choreography was weak but dance was good. Remo says that he should learn a little more and come back next year. Yash says that he isnt worth coming here. (Aww he is soo modest! 😳). He says the DID level is so high and he isnt as great, and he will work hard and ill def come next year. He has a request. He brings a cap and asks the judges to put it on him as his taqdeer ki toppi! AWWWW!!! 😳
- 👏Jai is dancing with contestants outside on De Taali. Next contestant/ last contestant is up and he is a choreographer. He dances on hip hop. Apparently this Deepak is the same trainer of PRINCE! From last season, and they show prince and he takes Deepaks blessings! 👏 Remo wants Prince and Deepak to perform together! THEY DO!! 👏👏 Its great! ( ITS GREAT seeing Prince dance again! 👏). They dance to Maasakali. Deepak gives way and lets Prince dance himself! Aww..😳. Prince goes solo and does his style!!! (Ah!!! MISSED Him soo much! 🤗). Deepak is given the toppi!
- The Tandoo Pareeksha auditions happen of 2 groups, and out of them about 5 or 6 get the toppi. One of thems names is Hemant.
