Jyoti is no more a positive character - usually they show the main lead not doing mistakes but a victim of situation - here she is telling lies, hiding everything from her husband (whereas the relationship of a husband and wife depends on the mutual trust), does not share any personal problems with Pankaj, does not tell him about her past, does not attend to home or the family members, always caring for her own people, want to look great by handling the problem herself to get the full credit, very very selfish............and I can go on!!!!!!
Does this type of character today's girl should look at - what are we learning from it? The lead character doing everything wrong and still getting praises from her parents, sisters, brother, husband and her in-laws - what a great sister.....what a great wife & bahu!!!! 😆😆😆

I agree. She is a real negative character. I hate her 'holier than thou' attitude.

I hope the CVs wake up and make her take stock of the situation, & then take the one positive step that will cure all these problems - tell the truth.

She will be kicked out for sure, but she should say 'I deserve this' and walk out. I will admire her guts only on that day.

I am not watching this stupid serial any more. Vrisha's updates are great, & the day she posts something good, i will resume watching this.

I agree w/ the people above. As dabuu said, not only does she belittle her marriage w/ her divided loyalties, she doesn't grasp the concept at all. Uday did, when he was willing to stand by his marriage vows and walk out unless Sudha was accepted, and Jyoti gave him her bs about CM having the right not to accept Sudha. Hello!!! Uday never took any vows to CM, but he did take sacred vows w/ Sudha.

Then the other day, when Sudha suggested that Jyoti let Deepu handle the problem of Sushma & Brij, Jyoti gave her a lecture of how after marriage, she has new relationships but doesn't lose the old ones. WTF??? If her maakya is totally parasitic on her, she shouldn't have married at all - CM was right on this one! When anyone takes on responsibilities of both parents & in-laws, they're just doubling their work, and asking for trouble when there are expectations from both ends. And in Jyoti's case, it's not like her maakya wants it - she's imposing her 'contributions' upon them.

And the Sharma family is completely disfunctional - starting w/ that ethical retard KK, who disuades Jyoti from fessing up, and worse, encouraging the rest of the family to help cover up for her. So the entire Sharma family is now in on an exercise to deceive the entire Vashisth family, and what's worse - it's introducing an element of deception into Suday's marriage as well. And doesn't Sudha herself have a sense of right and wrong, instead of blindly following Jyoti?

P.S. I'm not a 'she'!!!
