Prateeksha's decision-Beyond ridiculous

While I'm sure everyone enjoyed the PraSha confession scene in today's epi.....Prateeksha's decision to pay the 7 lakhs to that loser Prashant was something I found to be beyond ridiculous.

Up till this point, I'd thought of Prateeksha as this very sensible, mature girl.....but this decision of hers has tossed that out of the window.....and what mahaan logic....Jai ho, creatives😆......so let me get this straight....to stop Shashank from doing a 'bura kaam' i.e. wanting to be with Prateeksha, she is going to go ahead and freaking give her ENTIRE life savings to that loser Prashant JUST to MARRY him???😕😕😕.....From what angle does ANY of this make sense?? She can CLEARLY see that they are just a bunch of greedy ppl trying to get as much money out of her as they can and yet she's willing to do whatever they ask her to JUST to get MARRIED?? Aisi kya desperation hai, bhai?? Ok so it's her Mom's 'sapnaa' and all....great....but would her Mom's sapna EVER be that she marries a guy who refuses to marry her unless she pays him MONEY??? Ridiculous! They are just showing her to be stupid for no reason now.....Shashank isn't THAT scary that JUST to ward him off, she'll lutaao her entire life savings and marry the biggest loser on the planet, is he?😕😆😆

Nureat I just wrote the same stuff in my Annex post as well...wow grt minds do think alike😉😆..They just spoiled the beautiful PraSha moment with that one stupidity of Prateeksha..in today's realistic life which girl will sacrifice all her savings on one greedy fellow just to save someone else's relationship...such Mahaan-Aatma's don't exist in today's world..when will Ekta and her creatives understand this and stop showing their lead heroines as sacrificing lambs

no nureat01 its not shanky thts compelling her to take such a drastic step.. its her sisterly feelings towards Suhani.. n the role she wud play in her heart break...

like i said in my other post...if prats doesnt dump lallu soon...the truck should hve hit her....gotten some sense into her at least!!

the arrrrrrghhh thing abt Prashant is tht he is a puppet in his mother's hand n morally he is not a guy Prats wud like 2 marry...he might b not as greedy as his mother but he is spineless n his whole thinking is based on his mother's thinking... bt he is a typical guy we find in society he who wud defo care for Prats but not like a luver but out of obligation of mrg.. bt he will never ever contradict his mother.. n thts the pnt Prats will learn..... she nods her head in denial at the end.. she cannot ask money from Shanky... n if they force, may b she will realize Prashant is no good n she wud call off their engagement.. but will keep it a secret from everybody...

if she says yes, surely Shanky wud help her.. n wud also learn the fact tht Prashant doesnt luv her n neither does she... hmmm if this happens it wud b interesting 2 know how things turn out in their luv story...

i think its jst for sake of Suhani n her own morals she is compelled 2 take such a stupid step...

But Manisha there are other ways too..to save this Sumo-Shanky relation and sacrifice her love..she can just go out of town without telling Shanky...I don't think marrying that spineless fellow is the only option left with Prateeksha😕..Now what will she do ?..go and beg in front of Shanky and his father for more money because her in-laws asked for 4 lakh rupees more na😕..

There were other ways too..she could hv settled down in some other city..away from Shanky and everyone's life...but no the creatives think the only way Prateeksha can save Sumo-Shanky relationship is by marrying that Lalluram and by sacrificing her entire life savings...what a dumb creativity😕

And yes, this is the DUMBEST turn this show has taken yet....Prateeksha's confusion after Shashank's confession is understandable....but this decision that she's taken to marry that loser Prashant JUST to get away from Shashank is beyond stupid.....like you said, there are other ways....she can leave the city and go away if she's oh so freaked out....why ruin her entire life and marry a greedy idiot like Prashant JUST to make Shashank back off??

And honestly....what makes her think that Shashank WOULD still back off???😆😆.....When has he EVER played by the rules?😆....especially when it comes to Prateeksha.....his funda seems to be....'baaki sab jaaye bhaad mein....I just want to be with Prateeksha'😆😆

I feel Prats is wrong this time...What if that Prashant just runs away with her money leaving her helpless... How will Prats face Shank... "Oh, I found my siblings but I have no money!!" She'll have to stoop even more lower in front of Shank.........

What I don't like is the larger than life acts of the lead protagonist to sacrifice and ruin things for everyone. I would've respected Prats more had she said no to Shanks because she didn't think of him in that way, or because she felt guilty to be a marriage-breaker rather than agree to pay 7 lakhs to that greedy lecher, JUST to stop Shanks doing his "bura kaam". If taking dowry is wrong, giving it willingly is equally wrong.

Let's see what this 5th January has in store for us. I am sure there will be a mandap drama. As it is Shanky's "Shani" is bhari on him ... LOL.

Btw, I recall one dialogue from KZK that Mukti had said to Prem that there are times in your life when you don't accept love and there are times when love doesn't accept you. It was very well said, it truly made an impact on my mind. In Shanks and Prats case too, Prats is not accepting love at this stage and at some stage love will not come to her. She will suffer in her longings for Shanks when circumstances change.

Edit: I agree with the post above. Kekta's ladies are always shown as divine statues of supreme sacrifice. i.e. weak damsels in distress.
