That's probably not verbatim . . . but you got the point . . . actually when I think 'italian furniture' chrome etc comes to mind . . . there aren't distinct periods like English or French . . . I'm now scraping the bottom of the barrel . . . haven't paged thru 'Architectural Digest' in eons . . . I cannot quite figure out what the style of this Sethi-Nivas is . . . there are quasi french windows, the doors are painted white . . . and then? The kitchen doesn't come across as fancy-shmancy . . . the pink balcony . . . does that belong to pink house of which we see only the exterior or did they paint the one in the 'actual house' pink . . . for authenticity?

italian furniture to me is all very modern, mirrors and chrome. the kind of chair where u have to hope like crazy that ur actually sitting on a chair and not sum1s idea of sculpture. the desi version of it usually involves fountains and plaster of paris statues 😆

the sethi nivas to me looks like a typical ghar........... where the table in a corner has been there for a couple of generations and even the thot didnt occur to ne1 that perhaps it may look better by the window. for all we know the balcony is a part of a totally different house, chosen for its correct lighting
