Hi All,

This is the first FAN FICTION for Shakuntala : The Eternal Love Story....which was a great show but ended before its due time...so we the fans are gonna share our parts of fictions what we feel about this lovely couple Dushyant & Shakuntala here...I request all the fans of Shakuntala to particiapte here and make this one a lively n enjoyable one......

A short brief of the great love story of Shakuntala:

Shakuntala the ravishing beauty was born as the daughter of the celestial pari Menaka & Rajashree Viswamitra.But unfortunately she had been abandoned by her mother near Rishi Kanva's ashram.The new born Shakuntala was first taken by a bird known as Shakun and it kept her in its nest which has been later found out by Rishi Kanva while crying aloud....he could hear it as the Shakun's nest was near by Rishi's ashram.He was very surprised to see this beautiful baby and took her to his ashram and named her as Shakuntala as she was first taken care by the bird shakun....

So shakuntala was grown up in the ashram with all love n affection of Rishi Kanva...rishi kanva was not married but he brought up shakuntala like his own daughter...When grown up, Shakuntala justified her mother's name by becoming an enchanting beauty.

At that time Puru was the king of Hashthinapur whose son Dushyant was considered as the most intelligent, handsome and above all mightiest among all princes....

And when they met.....

Started the unforgettable eternal love story...

Dushyant & Shakuntala...became the synonym of love in this subcontient......the most beautiful story of love,passion and pain......

hey ritu,

well, i was also a lover of shakuntala. will try to write something somewhere soon. coz, right now i am busy.. but would love writing on dushyant and shakuntala....

missing the show..
