Anyone read The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini? It's a beautiful book, and I would reccomend it to all here: but contains some extremely disturbing subjects, like rape, child molestation, betrayal, etc, so it may not be suitable for all.
I read it, and now I can't stop crying. 😭 Never before did I shed so much of tears, let alone by reading a book. 😭
Anyone out there with whom I can discuss?

Its one of my favorite books! Its well written... I loved how khalid hosseini described Afghanistan.. the culture and everything.. Ive heard abt kabul and other places on the news but could never really picture them.
I loved Hassan and amir was good too .. I loved how flawed he was lolzz .. the ending was good ... I hated the taliban bit .. was scary ... and the part were amir meets asif again was kinda unrealistic ... other than that the book was perfect 👍🏼 I read a thousand splendid suns after this n loved it too ... khalid hosseini is good!

Honey, you know what I'll ask you, think I can get it online? I'll have to have a go at that. Maybe I'll try after the exams!

Wow, so much of responses; why did I not notice? I'm going to come back very soon. But to those who haven't read this piece of literature but wants to in the future - I will urge them to stay away from this thread, as major events from the book will be discussed in depth.

Most likely, no. It's quite a popular, and critically acclaimed book - you can get that in library closest to your home - and I am sure there are plenty of them around. 😊 Just grab a copy (and yeah, after your exams are over - don't make my mistakes - now I can't concentrate on any of my studies), and have a go at that. I am willing to bet you will like it. 😊
Btw, glad to see you here.
