That man grows in stature on a daily basis . . . soon to overtake that Hanuman thingamajig that shows up in the scenes with the traffic and metro train . . .
I absolutely loved him standing up to that erstwhile sister of his today . . . she is evil incarnate (and looks ever ready for Halloween) . . . I'm glad Abhi came across the FD slip but am still confused about where he retrieved it from . . . the last I saw was a terrified Anuj letting it fall out of his hands . . . then the one-sided shouting match (did the FD walk off at that time in search of Abhi - too much noise?) . . . then the lights are turned off . . . then Abhi appears from somewhere with the slip in his hand . . . hunh?
But enough of that digression . . . back to the topic at hand . . . now . . . I know quite well that I'm destined to be a contrarian, but based on some of the discussion about Abhi's shortcomings, I'd like to comment on the bedroom scene with Nakul . . . why was that peurile? I ABSOLUTELY had a blast!! WHAT a prankster!! While I don't resort to much prankstering these days, that was me many moons ago, so of course I'm tickled a bright shade of pink 😊 And that bit with aping Nakul . . . hilarious and truly well done . . . down to the pushing back of imaginary glasses 'Oh yeah! We too are a man of our word . . . totally bent upon riding off into the sunset with our very own Simi . . . all you sad sods . . . wait and see what's ahead in store for you'
And of course there was the heart-rending sensitivity - down to the change in voice tenor with the bell and the rest . . . also loved him bringing Simi back to planet earth from a geosynchronous orbit by raising his arm and motioning to the time . . . gotta run kiddo . . . tremendous . . . ditto for the scene with the food out on the patio . . . why did that reek of a parent/child relationship exactly? Minus the sorry looking chappatis, I can see and accept that kind of sharing as a token of romantic love . . . I mean people are shown to do that all the time in other programs, so why should this be an exception?
And the blazing anger and jealousy and nastiness at the park . . . and I remember playing that game but cannot recall what it was called . . . anyone? other wonderful dimensions . . . round him off well . . . I had no urge to slap him for being a 'crybaby'. . .
His tenacity at the association office waiting for RB . . . I cannot imagine how he just stood upright for hours . . . didn't his back hurt? I wonder if he'll meet up with that creep at the bar soon or not . . .
So, what's missing?
They've simply got to let him go beyond the ear-to-ear smiles/grins (makes him look fabulous of course), winking, and the surreptitious holding of hands . . . why oh why can't he bring himself to hold her in his arms and guide her into putting her arms around his neck . . . preferably with her hair down . . . out of that noisome braid . . . now . . who can argue . . . wouldn't that just be heaven & paradise all rolled into one? 😊
If it doesn't happen soon, the Sunshiners are going to be billed for my sessions with a psychiatrist 😊
