In cultures that are not adherents of egalitarianism, yes . . . as well as where the legal system is lax if not entirely flaccid . . . but the larger lesson (I think) is to cease & desist from perpetuating antiquated notions and practices . . . which is why I get peeved when opportunities on pgms such as KB are squandered . . . I don't know which is worse: no-information or mis-information . . .

Just to take the Neetu pregnancy issue . . . no heed is paid to the very sound advice of the physician who admits that while negligible, the probability of false positives is not zero . . . hence she advises that should the home test detect pregnancy, the next step should be an in-office visit to apply more rigorous processes to unambiguously confirm/refute . . . at worst, an abortion could be induced (since there is no concept of 'murder' and other inanities such as those prevalent in this country) . . . but no . . . Neetu is already blurting to Vicky that she is pregnant . . . Simi is on a crusade . . . to do what exactly?

What has the uninitiated viewership walked away with? I mean, why should the concept of 'age reversal' be the only thing under consideration? I'll give them the benefit of my doubt since the scenario hasn't played out in its entirety . . . they may yet come through . . .

Yes you can get pregnant the first time. It doesnt matter when you have sex...whether it is your first time or second time or so on. If you are ovulating(peak of fertility), you can get pregnant. Most women dont know when they are ovulating but its possible to fiqure out using a calander and noting the dates you start your period and when it's over (theres more to it but i was being brief). We learned all this in Health and my teacher made it clear the very first day that "You can get pregnant the first time."

Also, i dont think Neetu planned on having sex for those of you who said something about birth control pills. Dude, this is an indian family! How's she supposed to get birth control pills if she's not supposed to have sex in the first place? I think for her it was the spur of the moment thing...she thought she met her soul mate and went for it without thinking. Now she'll face the consequences :(

I wonder what will happen...cause Simi's not even married yet. I dont think they'll want to get her married to Vicky yet (cause people would talk of course). They didnt even want to get Anuj married till Simi got married!

Maybe abortion? Or maybe, Neetu wont tell them at all!
