rumpa76,

Your comments against Hema and his mother are ridiculous. At 17 he is the most versatile singer on the show. But, I am probably wasting my time informing you.

You appear to be angry because someone had some criticisms against your dear Debojit.

Remember, you have to be perfect if you want to criticize others. I can easily say that Hema is a better singer than you can write decent English.

Someone please tell rumpa76 that this time around Hemu infact had gained more votes from the OTHER states so please take facts into consideration before commenting. Another fact is that Hemu has sung songs sung by different singers.

Hemu may have a slight accent problem but Debo is no better.

Debo is a good singer but needs still more training because he can only carry certain songs. His Hum dum Suniyo Re was horrendous HR couldn't help laughing which I must say was outright rude on his part but he is such.

So ppl before commenting on anyone I'd say get your facts right.

Oh rumpa ji, this is so not true and if you've been following this show, you should know this. Hem, Sharib, Debu have probably shown their diversity the most.

He only got vote because her mother has hires 100 person with cell phone to vote for him..in South India not body watch any Hindi Channel but still they are voting..and from you name I know that you also belong to same region...but that does not justify your idiotic logic..here...I accept that you have ppo hindi song knwoledge...but it looks like you got some amount of money from Hema mother to campaign..

This is SO NOT TRUE. I can understand that you're a Debu supporter and want him to win but this was in BAD taste...

back Debojit started receiving highest votes and no matter what anyone
talks about HRs manipulations with Votes for Vinit that is not going to be
able to overcome % of votes for Dabojit. No contestant can beat the
support debojit has with his fans voting. So no sense in going further
with this contest. Just give him the key to the flat, car and have him sign
the contract. it is a done deal. I am happy for him.

I looked back at the voting pattern and thr truth is that he has always
been getting high votes from the NE and except for that one yellow light
episode where he claimed the lines were cut, I think he always been in the
top half. I mention this because Shaan has mentioned it week after week.
Debo has been the #1 or #2 vote getter multiple times. His base never
went away. It is true that outside of his home region, the support is less
but that is the case for almost all of the contestants. Also in a way that
other people may move outside their region to other states, it is my
understanding that the NE including Assam people do so less and stay
closer to home. So his base may not be scattered. I think what is
interesting is that debo is a Bengali so you would think that his support
would be less in Assam and more in Bengal but surprise - -that is not the
case. This I think is changing as now even Bengalis are starting to take
this NE insult personally. Plus wihtout Hemachandra there as a candidate,
I think that Bengalis and others will prefer a singer with a mroe classical
base.

I don't think that the ID walkout made a difference looking back on it.
Debo always had a strong base of support. When AS and HR ganged up
on him to give him unfairly low scores, they were inflamed and took it
personally and voted with a vengence. Then the whole walkout thing
happened and that again angered them and they voted with a vengence.
There is a perception rightly that Debo has not been hyped like Vinit so
thus has been unfairly treated. That is true in that none of the candidates
were hyped so much (well there is Rajeev) and that was an unfair
advantage for Vinit. Also as I noted in an earlier post, there is always
some resentment across non Hindi and Punjabi speaking states about
their cultures, languages, and contributions being minimized.
Independence is not so long ago (my parents are both pre-partition) so
these kinds of feelings play a part.

I am not saying that any of this is right. To me the old SRGM format
would never have seen Nihira or Chandu lose or have let Swananda,
Sharib and Raktima be elminated so early. One of the reasons this show is
so loved, is because it values or it did value classical training and true
talent.

At this point, I want Debo to win. I really believe that he is the better
candidate of the two. As for the mentors, they have all been a
disappointment -- ID the least.

Let us understand one thing.

Everyone whoever has been out has got less votes, agreed. My favorite was Nihira, but no compalins, since I accept the fact that we as fans failed to vote.So rather than now complaining and getting worried NE will vote and Vinit will loose, start voting for your favorite contestant.

I personally want Debo to win, since I do not want HR to win.. (Sorry Vinit)
