Well I finally saw today's episode and I am wondering, what the heck am I watching now? This is not the Abhi and Simi I saw a few weeks ago. Did Sunshine Productions hire a new writer or did the guy get drunk and have a blackout?

What the heck is with Abhi? He's so frigging pathetic it's awful. He's smitten or as we say "whopped" by Simi, who frankly speaking is a 30 year old frumpy woman who has demonstrated nothing that would appeal to a 22 year old guy. Serious, what does she have going for her?? Smitri Kalra is a good looking woman, so don't get me wrong, but she's representing a plain Jane or Simi here - cotton shalwar, chotti her hair and a black bag that clashes with her pastel suit.

Abhi's totally screwed up in the head. Yep, he wants to hurt her because he gives a damn that she, Simi, might not like him. As for Simi, does she like him? She's done nothing in the past two weeks to show that she gives a toss. She's more worried that people will see her with Abhi while someone is talking about her rishta. DING DING DING. Did no-one pick this up!! She's more concerned about her frigging rishta with this guy. She herself actually gives him (Abhi) the idea that she is looking at this as a potential option. I mean why does she give a toss if this rishta was put at risk???

All she ever does is complain about him wanting to meet her and that he acts like a kid. Abhi should dump Simi's sorry azz and find a girl who will appreciate him. The new Simi (or the one I actually cared about but didn't realize how ungrateful she truly is) is horrible.

How is this drama now any different from the run of the mill love stories we see in Indian television or movies???

O, and what is with Abhi breaking into the house? Has he become a totally obssessive lover calling her 18 times???

Let me ask you this, which 22 year old guy would seriously go with a 30 year old plain Jane?? If a guy who is 22 goes for an older woman it is because he believes she is experienced in the world of sex and wants to get laid!! So the whole premise of a 22 year old man crazed and insecurely in love with a 30 year old, and that too a plain Jane, is becoming totally pathetic.

Gosh Laila . . . what would you say to the movie 'Harold & Maude' . . . she's 90 and he's 20 . . . it's considered a classic in our part of the world . . . not much sex enters the picture (no pun intended) . . . 22 ain't no spring chicken wanting to screw around with an older 30 year old!!!

Never heard of 'December-May' romances? And in our case with KB, it's hardly Dec-May.

I'm not sure Simi is supposed to be plain Jane . . . she is unsophisticated completely oblivious to her obvious charm . . . and lots of people have no dress sense . . . why should she be different? I kinda like the character just the way it is . . .

She's more worried that people will see her with Abhi while someone is talking about her rishta.

That's completely understandable . . . who has the gumption to not give a toss about something that is unheard of in society and walk about totally intrepid . . .

Has he become a totally obssessive lover calling her 18 times???

It happens . . . trust me . . . not from personal experience . . . but I've seen it . . .

LOL, seriously none!! Not in real life!! Not to a 10 yrs older plain Jane... no!
But it was being done in this serial and hence made it hatke from the rest of the run-of-mill kinds and got us interested in it in the 1st place.

Yes, my dear, I have heard of Harold and Maude. Are you comparing their romance to the same movie? Give me a break. And yes, she is supposed to be a plain Jane. Have you not seen the earlier episodes???

18 just became that because she's not been picking his calls 😉 because of the way he treated her.
On a serious note, I think he might have understood how pathetically he behaved and might want to apologize and I think, he might have understood that there is some issue with Neetu that Simi is currently concentrating on.
Since she doesn't want to talk, and he desperately wants to apologize, there is no way he can make her come out to talk so he is here.

ok to all our surprises that pathetic abhi and ungrateful simi will reunite tom as abhi is in her house to kiss and make up and he is not leaving til he gets simi's attention. and we will all watch them happily dear and that is a real life drama my friend and trust me on this been married for so long 😊 ..

No dear, I have been reading all your posts about Abhi yday and today and I too feel writers are getting directionless with this right now ...
There were no many places they could have handled it much better than what they are currently showing ...
I would wait and watch for some more time .. otherwise if they are going to handle their characters pathetically like this ... I am off of this ....

Ramas, I cannot stand these two characters and at this point if they never got together in the end I'd actually be happier. They are awful. The way this show is written, I am going to hurl up my food at the thought of these two kissing and making up.

Thanks for the effort, but seriously, this show is so bad, I am contemplating to stop watching as it really is not keeping my interest and instead insults my intelligence.
