Q. Which film is the biggest hit of the year so far?

A. Wanted is the biggest hit of 2009 till date from all Hindi films followed by Love Aaj Kal although Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani may cross the business of Love Aaj Kal. 2012 is the biggest hit of all films released this year in the All India market.

Wow that is great news.. Its surprising how all the movies which were understated in BS.. went on to become the biggest hits of the year.. leading that list is Wanted.. no one thought it would do great.. but it went on to do amazingly.. And Ajab was ridiculed badly here.. but it has done so well.. way better than the overhyped movies here.. leading that list is Kaminey.. hehe.. pata nahi kaminey kaunsi galaxy mein hit hui.. hai..?? LOL.. chalo semi hit hi sahi.. atleast it got critics praise to save it grace..

Music is one of the key factors to get people interested.

Atleast, APKGK and LAK had an awesome music album,the songs are chartbusters whereas Wanted had an average music score.

^^ But I liked that song of wanted.. your amma says you love me.. your appa says you love me.. Well its great news for Sals that Wanted did great.. he needed a hit and officially came back with this movie! I like your Sals avi.. I would like to put up a Sals avi from his movies like Jab pyaar kissi se hota hai or Janam samjha karo... he looked really hot in those movies.. but alas I dont know how to make avis..

Oh Man.. Salman was damn HOT in those movies.. Gosh.. I remember drooling over those movies as a teenager.. And that song oo janejana.. he totally rocked the nation and chicks with that song.. everyone was crazy over him.. He has to be one of the most geninuley genuinely good looking actors in India.. and he was such a treand setter in terms of maintaining his built and a nice body.. that actors have started following those trends now.. He totally rocks..

A few years back he was voted as the 7th Best Looking man in the world by People Magazine.So Oprah had invited Salman on her show where she was doing a special feature on all the good looking men which included Brad Pitt and GEorge Clooney...etc..

N guess what our great Salman does??He declined the offer to go on the show .His logic was that when he didn't like to do any sit-down chat shows in India why should he accept Oprah's invitation only coz it's a foreign show.

Damn,I wish he had gone on Oprah.He would have rocked it coz he has a great sense of humour.

wanted's suceess marks the success of single screens also . ppl say tht only multiplexes rule the business but this time single screens overpowered the multiplexes, i think wanted is the only movie which has done gr8 business in singles in this yr

Yea he has great interpersonal skills and a great sense of humor.. which can be clearly seen on DKD and his interviews.. I know! It would have been great to see one of our hottie on Oprah.. none of our mainstream actors have given that many interviews to the American media.. maybe anil kapoor who was caught by TMZ.. he was hillarious.. during the slumdog promotions.. Back to Sals.. Yea it would have been great to see him with likes of Brad and Clooney.. But thats Salman for you.. he does things in his own wayyyy..

Yea single screen audience were kinda getting ignored by movie makers and box office pundits.. but I guess Wanted changed that.. I am sure that Wanted did great in multiplexes too.. cauz its hard to become the biggest hit without the plexes.. but I guess single screens also played a huge part... Salman generally has more universal appeal in terms of the demographics in India.. compared to many other actors.. which works in his favor. I dont like movie makers who make movies for a target section of audience.. they give excuses like they made it for the plexes audience.. or NRI's thats just plain silly.. when you have such a large market of audience in India then why just make movies for a section.. A good movie can appeal to all the people equally.. it doesnt need to be targetted to a particular audience..
