Eisha Singh reveals being ANNOYED during wedding scene with Avinash Mishra for 'Shukriyaa': 'My face is not..'

Your song 'Shukriyaa' is out now and people are really talking about it. What was it like shooting for the song?

It was nice, we shot in Chandigarh, the team was nice. I think we shot for two days and the director was very good. He knew what he wanted and it didn't feel like work. I think of course when you're working with your friends, it never feels like work. It's always very easy peasy, lemon squeezy. So I think it was fun, it was a lot of fun. The locations, the best part was the weather was very very nice. It was nice and pleasant.

Avisha fans were waiting to see you and Avinash together again, and now that it’s happened with Shukriyaa, how was that reunion for you both?

We love the fact that people love us so much and they have given us the tag of 'Avisha' and we love it. I think we both equally love it and we appreciate it. More than us, I think people were really excited and I can't wait for them to watch the music video because I've already seen it and I think they're going to love it. It's nice. The song is very nice. The moment I heard it, my first reaction was, I want to do this because the production is so good. And then the song was so good. It's sung by these amazing singers and then my co-star was Avinash, so I had all the reasons to say yes.

Everyone’s talking about the wedding bit in Shukriyaa. What was happening behind the scenes while you were shooting it?

What went behind the scenes, I think it was 6 a.m. call time and I was annoyed because my lehenga was poking me. In that moment, I just wanted to do the scene and I think it turned out to be very beautiful. My face is not giving away the fact that the lehenga was poking me. And I think it was very well shot, very aesthetically shot. But yeah, I think it was nice and it was fun.

Shukriyaa seems to have found its space with the audience, especially for those who’ve followed Eisha and Avinash for a while now. Their pairing still feels easy and familiar, which reflects on screen. With people continuing to talk about the song, it’s safe to say this reunion has landed just the way fans would have hoped.
