Eks, I thought the same when I saw the precap - that is, why not Kuch Khass Hai, from the same movie. But I totally agree with you and the others' POV here, that Mar Jawan is perfect from Damini's POV. Especially the bit that Maz posted. So yes, I agree - we are going to see Damini seducing Pri. Thing is, the translation of the song Doop found online, and the one's Krups mentioned are purely literal translations as opposed to the implied meaning. And that's the problem. You can't be too literal in a translation else the meaning and beauty is lost.

Krups - Butterball always makes me think of turkey!! 🤣 For those who don't know, Butterball is the most popular brand of turkey used for making the American Thanksgiving dinner. I'm vegetarian but can't escape this tirade of butterball turkey! And yes, those subtitles are hilarious indeed! I don't even need to read the subtitles but can't help my eyes from wandering to them and I invariably crack up, especially during songs! 🤣

Shweths - You translate from Damini's POV very well! Afterall, we have to hear a song from the context it is in.

Ok, since you mentioned 'kuch khaas', let me just say how perfect I think that song is for PriDa! I always hoped it would be their song, but since Marjawaan is so beautiful, I'm not complaining AT ALL! In fact, on second thoughts, Marjawaan is better since it is the song of a lovelorn woman, waiting for her man, hoping he loves her as much as she does, that he dreams about her like she does of him, and that's Damini at the moment, right? Looking forward to this so much! And with you on the possible setting for this song...
