Aren't you objectifying the men of the series..

I have friends who watched this only for Taylor Lautner's abs and I mean he's not a piece of meat. If people are over-concerned with the appearance of the characters, they're not going to be critical of the series. If you ask a twilight-fangirl what they thought of the new moon, most likely one of the things they'll say is how hot _______ and ________ was or whatever.


Let's not even get me started on the anti-feminist themes in the series.

FINALLY! someone realized this. I have wondering about this and been pretty pissed about it. people comes and saying jacob this and jacob that or edward is soo hot. my answer is thats all you noticed? you care about how hot the men are but the women don't matter. no one really says much about their acting either its always the appearance. Jacob and edward aren't the only thing! there is a girl named bella too... even when it comes to the actors who portray the characters, if you post then pic taylor rob and kris then every single person will focus on the guys, no one will care about how kristin looks. there are more twilight then just the appearance of the guys, there is a wonderful love story waiting to be discovered.

well.....i think its because many ppl didnt find Kirsten as their Bella.....and to b frank...me too........but i love her character.....

I think most people like the series only for the actors. Twilight wasn't that popular before the movie came out.

^^way to go Aish..yup i feel the same way..Twlight series was Popular but not as popular before the promos for twilight started coming out and people watched it for the actors.i personally didnt like Twilgiht at all cause it was sooo poorly made in my opnion and Kristen acting was average..and I'm sorry to say Rob was ohk aswell..

evn i nevr liked the actors much..its the story tht appeals to me thts y i like the actors..they r hot i agree but thrs a lot more to it thn tht..smtyms i fl irritatd wth rob fr nt showing proper expressns..but now they r the charcs we hv picturized,..i love the story n i watchd the movie onli cz of tht..

yop.same here..I mean i know alot of teenage girls who just watch the movies for Rob or Taylor..story doesnt mean anything to them..iots all about who is hot..which gets on my nerves when a book i like is not portrayed properly on big screen.. Zaara

Personally, I watched New Moon because I was a really big fan of the books, not the characters. But yeah, alot of my friends watched it only cause of Jacob and they liked it cause of him too?

I LOVEEEE Jacob's character, and I guess his looks are just a bonus in the movies for me.
