to me, there is more to twilight then hot guys. i read the books even before the actors came into place. you have to read all four of them to understand the lovestory. the books are soo much better then movies, it actually focuses more on bella's depression and edward's self hatred. yes, he is 108 but he has waited for bella for centuries. of course twilight has flaws. No book is perfect. but there is soo much more to twilight then edward walking into bella's room in the room.

I did read the books and THEN saw the movies. That still doesnt make me like the books. I actually pretty much despise the books. Edward Cullen onscreen is more tolerable than Edward Cullen inside the books :)

I think its that way with ANY pop culture phenomenon.....whether its Twilight,High School Musical,Harry Potter, Vamp Diaries...etc...ALWAYS the guys will get a better taste of fame because girls are running after them and saying how hot and sexy they are example- Zac Efron got the most praise/appreciation form fans, Ian Somerhalder is often said to carry the show Vamp Diaries on his own shoulders.??? why because girls want to see him more than the main leads Nina and Paul.....

in Twilight/NM movies Jacob got the most praise for showing off his body....and even in the interviews the cast gives out..if Kristen comes out with Rob or Taylor...Rob and Taylor get the most questions while Kristen gets stuck with answering in between them because the girls are crazy screaming for Rob/Taylor (YES I have seen this happen at during NM promotions) thankfullly the other ladies arent stuck with that for now....

many people who saw and reviewed NM on imdb said that it was basically eye candy for girls...to go crazy over either one guy or the wolf pack boys... I mean I will say that from an objective point of view yes it did distract a little from the movie to see shirtless boys running around so much.(I very much liked that though lol)..but from a de-ranged Twihard teenaged girl's point of view it seemed normal because for them they're used to it...this is what Edward and Jacob are for them AND that's how Summit and the actors promoted it.

for me I basically saw NM/Twilight to compare how they did to the books...Twilight for me didnt live up to the books...NM did...when I absolutel hated the book...NM was several notches above Twilight and now i cant wait for Eclipse(my personal fave from the 4 books).....I didnt get swayed away by Taylor's abs as much as the girls around me did lol but I did love to look at him!

did I make any sense at all??
