Whenever a film is about to release, most of the time, the lead actors are promoted. Their performances are hyped and articles are printed by the media about their wonderful acting and how much dedication they have put into films.
But when I actually go and see the film, most of time I find that the lead actors were not up to my expectations or they were not great at all. Atleast that is what happens with me, don't know about others.
Sometimes for me, when I see a film, I come out of the cinema and think about the performances that stood out for me and the ones that I remembered.
Surprisingly, nowadays it's the supporting actors that make an impact on me. It's not with all films but it does happen with a few, whether it's an old or a new film. I sometimes feel that the supporting actor/s have overshadowed the main lead. They don't even get the due credit for their performances and the main lead are showered with praises.
I wanted to ask about your opinion on this matter. Do you find supporting actors who overshadow the main lead? Do you think some of them get their due? I am not saying that every supporting actor in a film is great but there are a few performances which maybe do stand out. Please feel free to mention films which you have seen and the supporting actors have stood out for you. 😊
