On Omkaar:
Omkaar is not a decent man, for me there are no two ways about this. He is devious, selfish and uses dirty tracks as a way of mental torture. He applied the cream on Bharti on purpose in such a way that it would make her feel pain and he seemed to get some sort of satisfaction out of it. I don't think he understands love because if he did, he wouldn't find pleasure in seeing Bharti squeal in pain...
Even though he gets angry when Bharti speaks rudely, that is no justification for the way he misbehaves with her. He treats her like a possession, as if there's a rubber stamp on her. Also, he is very cunningr for bringing Jia home. He wants Armaan to stay and I don't believe him when he says that he wants to keep the family together. I think it's his way of torturing Armaan and wants him to wallow in self pity. Otherwise why did he say to Jia, "humaar saat kaun rahega?" Clearly he was referring to Bharti and I find it disguisting that he used a little child (his own niece) in his devious plan. Clearly the man has issues...
On ArBi:
Sorry to sound cynical...but their future seems bleak And trust me, it's not easy for me to admit this because I ADORE Armaan&Bharti. But if we look at the current track and the fact that Bharti needs to go through the 9 roop of a woman, ArBi seem to be lost among all of this. And the previews for upcoming episodes don't really give much hope to ArBi fans. The scenario has completely changed now. Unless the writers come up with an amazing twist, it's highly unlikely that these two will meet...
Although this track is interesting, I don't want to see this at the expense of ArBi.And I fail to understand why the writers are doing this. Another thing which goes over my head are the words of the Saadhu. He also referred to the 9 roop of a woman but he said that Bharti will have to marry not just any man, but "the" man that understands her, loves her and takes care of her a great deal. Surely that would have been Armaan and not Omkaar? And what happened to that? Saadhu ki baatein bekaar? Phir kyun faaltu mein usne itna footage khaaya?!!
Jokes apart, if the creatives decide to mellow down Omkaar with Bharti's love, I think that will be a huge mistake on their part. I would hate to see an end to the wonderful journey that Armaan&Bharti have been through. Bringing Omkaar and Bharti together will be too odd and very difficult to digest. And I do believe that it will have a huge impact on the show, but in a very negative way. It will bring the show down.
The writers have destroyed ArBi and have also ruined Armaan's character in the process. Armaan is giving his love away on a plate and IF (and I mean IF) Bharti warms to Omkaar, that will be the final nail in the coffin for the show that I once loved....
I want to dedicate one line from a romantic song to ArBi, which is all about the pain one feels in love and seperation. It was sung by the great singer of yesterday, Mahendra Kapoor:
Chalo ek baar phir se Ajnabee ban jaye hum dono....
