JC -- even i agree with you. It was a cliffhanger and I think Simi will take back what she said. She said it out of frustration and anger and will apologize.

BUT Abhi did tell her that he would help solve all her problems and that's why she should meet him in the park. So something more needs to happen -- he needs to assure her that he is there to take care of her. let's see how he does that. Whether he confesses some sort of feelings or tries to reason with her.

Either way, I can't wait :)

I tend to agree with N.I.S.A more. What they have right now is not really love from any angle. Its the beginning of a relationship that in all likely hood will turn into love.

Like you said, Abhi is intrigued by Simi initially and then he liked her for her character and wanted her to have a better life than she was pushing herself toward. Its a humanitarian thought. Abhi to me seems like the kind of guy that any girl would feel comfortable spilling her heart to because he is a good friend to anyone he meets. So he offers his services to Simi but unlike the other girls Abhi may have known Simi is stiff and stubborn and refuses his help at first. He doesn't get why Simi thinks the way she does and it frustrates him and angers him that he can't do anything and must watch as she throws herself to the dogs. The idea revolts within him so he goes to crazy lengths to do things to prevent Simi and RB marriage.

Was that love... possibly but it could be that Abhi just is not the kind of guy who lets a friend step into fire without doing everything possible to prevent it.

Simi has rarely if ever gotten the attention that Abhi gives her. Apart from Mili and her father i have not seen any other family member even giving Simi some moral support or boosting her self-esteem. But Abhi does what her father and sister can't do. She feels that her Father and sister are nice to her and say nice things to her because they are family. But Abhi is a stranger and his attention does more for her self-esteem. She feels better when she talks to him because he doesn't criticize her and lets her be herself.. he may think she is wired but he doesn't enforce his opinions on her. He likes her as she is and i think this is a first experience for Simi so she is naturally drawn to him and everytime she feels the need to vent she thinks of him.. calls him.
Is that love? I think it could become love.. not right now tho.

I'd like Abhi-Simi to develop their relationship slower.. Meanwhile ofcourse her mother is doing everything possible to hurry this process. But i wish still that their relationship woudl be given more time to grow stronger and genuine before they declare their love for one another.

but i feel that whatever has to happen will happen within 3 months because thats the time Manju has given herself to conduct Simi's wedding.

Abhi is the modern , liberal thinking guy who really doesnt give much thought to the side effects of his actions as long as its justified to him...

when he holds Simis hand and promises to support her forever, he did have that (OMG what have I said look on his face)

If they do continue the scene , i think he will just laugh it off and call it a typical indian women syndrome (where a platonic relationship doesnt normally exist especially in a conservative soceity)

I hope the KB team keeps the relationship natural and simple, which means more friendship and fun.

N.I.S.A. I think that based on Abhi's personality and his liberal way of thinking, he has a number of female friends to whom he is loyal. I think he came with that intent, to offer Simi a lifelong unconditional friendship and when Simi makes this comment (and look at his face when after she says, he looks shocked and stunned). I believe he is going to make such a comment as it is more in lines as to his personality and will contine to keep the readers in suspense.

The way Simi was behaving when she could not reach Abhi's phone for the whole day, shows her love for him. This is very clear to us as audience but does she get this herself? we do not know.

I dont think as of yet Abhi loves her...though it seems as if Simi is starting to realize her feelings towards him.
