Hot hunk John Abraham has been signed for a surprise role in Karan Johar's 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna'. When quizzed, Abraham agreed that he was doing the film but refused to divulge the details of the role. "My lips are sealed. I have been strictly told not to reveal anything about my character in the film."

The film is a story based on extra-marital relationship between Shah Rukh Khan (married to Urmila Matondkar) and Rani Mukerji (married to Abhishek Bachchan). Amitabh Bachchan plays a very flamboyant character in the film.
