U are soo right Raksha di!! Manju deserves more than just a slap!! For her almost getting married to a freak like RB!! I sometimes even think she's not even her mother!!

in all this the person to be blamed is the spinless selfish brother who as his dad rightly said last week that woh jahan rehta hain, khata hain uss ghar ka bhi usse hosh nahin hain......if he were to explain to his mom and make her understand the situation things would be so easy......but anyways what manju does is ridiculous....thankfully simi has a great dad.....

I'm sorry but after seeing the way she behaves today, how can ANYONE with any sense defend this vile woman? She is downright abusive towards Simi. It is not out of "concern" for her, it is only to save her own face. She is embarrassed by Simi and her only concern is to get rid of her so she no longer has to deal with the embarrassment of having a "fat" and "old" single daughter. Manju's intentions are entirely selfish. Like so many Indian women, she has no brain of her own. She can't see past what society thinks. India is changing and a woman's worth is no longer determined by her marriageability. Simi is intelligent, kindhearted, loving, educated, and yes, even beautiful. She is far more attractive than either of her sisters. Who cares if she carries a few extra pounds? A man like Rajiv isn't even worth the dirt Simi steps on.

Not once has Manju given a damn what Simi thinks or how she feels. It's always what her worthless backwards "friends" think that matters. Even if she wanted Simi to lose weight or make herself more attractive, it is possible to do that in a loving, encouraging, and positive way.

She is a terrible mother. No ifs, ands, or buts. When Simi's own mother treats her so poorly, what difference does it make what society thinks? How can anyone claim that Manju is trying to protect her when she herself is just as abusive and harsh as society?

doesn't manju have ANY common sense? i think not if she will not have invited her so called friends who had already demeaned simi the moment rajender broke simi's marriage off with rajiv bhalla. what is the need to invite such people over while looking for a prospective alliance for simi?😡 can't manju just have over the groom's family instead of all these useless gossip mongers?

and the beautician.. oh my! that was the last straw. that woman herself looked like she needed a makeover and there she was standing in the sethi's living room insulting simi. and what did manju do?😲 the usual.😡

i don't know what sin did simi commit in her previous life that she is cursed with such a mother. manju is a close-minded, rude, demanding, unreasonable and annoying woman. i don't think she's fit to be a wife let alone a mother. it's a miracle how rajender sethi was able to bear with a woman like that for so many years. that man should be given a Nobel prize for that alone.😆

the creatives should either give manju a personality transplant or just kill her character off. i don't think i can take any more of her "affection" for simi. enough is enough. simi is better off without a mother.

completely agree..there is no justification whatsoever for her behaviour...her "love" for simi is out to ruin her even more....

Totally agreee with above posts! Manju is not doing all this for Simi's welfare but for her own selfish insecurities, shes her daughter's worst enemy! 😡
