Well first thing, yesterday's show was very very gracious and no controversies....few points i want to mention...

1. I really liked the way vinit sang "tum mile"...he sang it in his own voice.. very very good composition.. one thing observed when he sang this line " saare sansar ka pyaar", there he put an extra effort ( this is were actually u take mild breadth), even sanu did it..that sounded little different from the other lines..good effort..i rate this performance higher than "baar baar ho"..and one of the best performance out of his rafi/sonu league...

2.debo was great in both the songs however he need to work on some pronunciation..like it is "zaniya" it is jaaniya ..he pronunced not like "z" but something in middle of "j" and "z"..his rendition of "yeh hasi wadiyan" was very good and for that song i think u need that soothing voice....which he had...good job..remember folsk allof them are singing in pressure , it is very difficult...

3. oh Hema !! what a performance..FOLKS he is just 17...imagine how would he develop in coming 10 years..remember greats like SPB/yesudas/hariharan came into bollywood, after they had already spent considerable amount of time in south . so they did had that accent touch...but good news is that hema is exposed so early and it is his early formiddable years..he will turn out to be a very very good singer...just like lata , she was introduced to urdu very early in her life and thats why she never had accent issues...best of luck to HEMA...it is all MEWA for him...

4. I was suprised to see HEMA's mother not there..SHe is great lady and i am sure that she must have been hurt..this is not
the way...she was very very gracious and decent...

5. How can be my post completed without me bashing HR.now guys see the finer points..
a) he never praises HEMA ( as like ID)
b) The way he went out of the way , to praise DEBO, it looks like he want to divert the attention from HEMA.
c) as again , HR went up to the stage...before that guys see what he has said..i think every body missed it..he said " people always come and say that you got a very good mentor" to vinit....did anyone notice the underlying message..as if he want to say that he is a very good mentor..the same way he said in etc interview..." my songs are raaga based"..he is very clever is saying these things..very politely and casually...it will go into your mind and u will not even realise that ... and then he said that to cover his initial point that " i am proud to have chela like you"...guys this was a cover up, the main statement was the first one............Am i getting biased ? can't help it..i genuinely beleive he is not good..can't help it..
d) "Even great people from south like SPB/hariharan/yesudas could not have sung like sukhwinder"..tell me what is the point he want to drive..it was unneccesary... are they sukhwinder and SPB in same genre..they sing different type of songs..can kumar sanu sing a kailash kher sufi song or can kailash sing a soft romantic number like sanu..he unneccessarily brings these points..i dont know what mission is he driving?he praised HEMA ..good..but why such statements...it could have been avoided.......... always think he says soemthing and mean something else..he always have a hidden mission...
e) the way he went out of the way to praise vinit for "bbar baar ho", was also not required...it was not as good as his earlier performances, where he used to put the stage on fire..if u guys looked properly, even ayesha was looking at the mentors , as if something is wanting...then she was all happy again...

6. AS , as always looks confused..he doesn't know when to say what..some how he manages..the way he was praising SG, even SG was embarassed..after such a good performance by HEMA, he instead of prasing him, went out of the way to butter SG..anyways As managed it well at the second song....SG is too clever to get into that or u need to have cleverness of HR to fool him...even big investors like warren buffet made many wrong decisons..like wise SG also made few, like yaadein ,kisna and giving music of "shaaadi se pehele" to HR :)

7. ID ..first thing he is not at all opening up. i think there is something in him which is ready to explode..guys looks like he is waiting for his opportunity.we want the original ID back...

8. Shaan as usual , was awesome and i think he has slight inclination towards HEMA.. may be he likes his voice...as always he is a treat to watch..keep it up shaan......

9. Shubash Ghai...whatever this guy is from a different league....he understand music..when he was asked to judge..he said i willnot judge but i will give my analysis...it reflects from his face that he is knowledgeable...folks forgive him for yaadein and kisna ( though the music was really really good) and giving music rights to HR.. "to err is human "

I am not trying to cheer for SG in anyway, but i must say one thing about kisna - OK sorts movie if you are indian but if you are not indian then it is definitely something that would warm your heart. The reason i say this is because as Indians, we are used to seeing some cheesiness in our movies and love it and are used to it so it doesnt stand out in our minds and hearts as unique. But for non-Indians, Kisna opened some new doors of thought and culture and committment of Indians....

anyways, this is just IMHO...The reason i wrote this post is because i dont know if you meant "forgive SG for making Kisna" or "for giving music rights to HR." If it was meant to be the latter...than i apologize in advance for placing this comment in this thread! 😊

let me clarify..

1.forgive SG for making yaadein
2.forgive SG for making KISna (movie)
3.Big round of applause ofr KISNA MUSIC ..that was awesome.
4. Forgive SG for giving HR a chance..

you will not beleive how excited i was when kisna was released..the concept was superb .. it was made for international audience..an indian fighting for an brtisih lady..good back drop..every thing was good for it..good music..superb performances by every body ..yashpal , vivek, the british lady..every one..i was so excited..

but direction was so so poor..dragged the story..totally messed it up. he thought we are still living in ram lakhan ,saudagar time...he needs to change his style according to the times....beleive i was very very disappointed..how could he screw up the movie...but again mistakes are done by every body and ia m 100% sure his next movie will rock..i like the way he is promoting jogger's park and iqbal..which shows he has changed his thinking...thats why i call him great..

) on the analysis of songs.. that was a good one..and some of the obserevations were strikingly similiar...l read it again and it is really really similiar...looks like i am developing some good sense regarding music... folks postive point .... now u will not miss any finer points..if i missed, i am sure adwarkanath will definitely catch it..
