anyways in brief after the dusera episode karan signs the dhanbad bunglow in kamini's name. in return he wants to sleep with her but she manages to escape by giving an excuse. then the next day he tries to contact her but kamini has disappeared. karan then realizes that kamini has conned him. once he reaches home pooja lets him know the whole thing was her plan to get the bunglow from him. she walks out of the house and returns him the mangalsutra. karan tries to stop her but she doesnt listen.
karan then calls up pooja's mom and cries crocodile tears. pooja's mom comes down to mumbai to sort out the issues b/w karan and pooja. pooja has to return home to meet her mom as she at karan's place. her mother pressurizes her to return to karan. karan acts all goody-goody. finally kamini comes there and reveals to pooja's mom how karan wanted to have an affair with her. pooja's mom then supports pooja and decides to let pooja be.
pooja's mom returns to dhanbad but to pooja's dismayed when she realizes that karan is going too. he goes to dhanbad and threatens to defame pooja in front of all their relatives and friends. he basically wants the bunglow back and pooja's mom again signs the papers. but pooja calls him and tells him that she expected that from him and so got the bunglow transferred in her name and the papers her mom signed are invalid. she threatens karan to get out of her house otherwise she will call the police. karan returns to mumbai and finds out where pooja lives(ie with kamini) and threatens her that he will get back at her.
meanwhile pooja keeps meeting vinny at a bank where they both go for some work. vinny sees her and falls in love with her. vinny needs a loan for his business(cosmetic jewellery business) and whenever pooja is around his work gets done fast. so he starts feeling pooja is his lucky charm. he wants to thank her with a cup of coffee and pooja after some hesitation goes with him. vinny realizes pooja is good at jewellery designs. he again takes her help in selecting the right designs. after this he offers her a job. vinny at this point realizes pooja is married(he didnt notice her sindoor) and is disappointed.
karan goes to a lawyer who tells him if pooja has left him for no reason then the law is in his favor and he can drag her to court to make her come back to him. if she doesnt come then her property will be seized and she will be jailed. but for all this he needs evidence. so karan goes to pooja's office and does some hungama and tapes it as evidence in his favor. pooja's boss sees all this and fires her. pooja looks for another job but is unable to find one. finally after talking to kamini and shubha, pooja decides to accept vinny's job offer. she goes to meet vinny to tell him this when karan sees her with vinny.
shubha meanwhile meets a new girl mridula in the train. mridula is a doctor working with orphaned kids. shubha is impressed with mridula and wants to her as her babu. vasu also meets mridula and likes her. mridula turns out to be nanda's niece and babli, nanda and shubha plan to introduce mridula to vinny.
there was also a side track where trisha and geeti join the same college and after first becoming enemies...then become thick friends.
