Part 1
The episode begins with Dev looking into Radhika's eyes after his kiss and sees tears and says yeh kya radhika, maine tumse kaha tha na ki main tumhare aasoon kabhi nahi dekhna chahta?(what's this Radhika, I told you I never wanted to see your tears) Radhika is in tears and says these are tears of happiness, today I was put haldi in your name and now I got haldi put by your hands, which bride has such good luck? Dev and Radhika stare into each other's eyes. Vishaka has come outside and staring at what's going on. Meanwhile Dev wipes Radhika's tears while she looks at him. Vishaka smiles and goes in. All of a sudden all the lights come back on, Devki screams from inside that Radhika, the lights have come back on, shut the lanterns. Dev and Radhika look at each other in the light. Radhika says ab apko jaana chahiye (now you should go) and she is about to get up but Dev holds her hand, she is startled and looks at him. Dev says so soon, never, I already told at home that I would be late. Radhika slowly gets her hand out of his hand and says no, it's quite late, please drive carefully, the journey is long. Dev looks at her and says par ja kaun raha hai? (but whose going?) Radhika looks at him surprised and says shyly mother is calling na...Dev says ok fine, but when will you meet next? Radhika smiles and says shaadi me (in the wedding), she is about to go, again he holds the haldi vessel, Radhika asks what happened, Dev takes some more haldi and puts it on her other cheek. Part 2
Radhika comes into the house, Shastri women are in the living room. Vishaka says listen radhika (Radhika stops in her tracks) what's this on your cheeks? Devki and Amma see the haldi, Radhika is holding her cheek startled. Vishaka is smiling. Radhika is hesitating, Amma starts screaming, haldi, where did you put haldi from? Radhika is hesitating, Vishaka is knowingly smiling, Devki asks her to speak. Amma says you have dahi/curd being formed in your mouth, I am asking something am I not? Radhika gives the haldi to Devki and is trying to go to her room but Vishaka stops her again and naughtily says the lantern that you went to light outside, is it still burning or did you put it out? Amma is now angry and suspicious. Vishaka then says haan agar nahi bhuji hai toh jaake bujayo (if it hasn't been put out then go put it out), Radhika understands what Vishaka is trying to say and smiles; Vishaka laughs and says varna phir yeh mauka nahi milega (otherwise you won't get this opportunity again). Vishaka says go go, go na. Radhika runs in, Vishaka says oh yeah she must have put out the lantern then, ok I will read a magazine.
In Purohit house, Vaishali is sitting on the swing, Mrinalini is telling her you did right by stopping Vishaka, then why are you worried? Everyone turns around and in walks in a NEW Deepika (new actress, what happened to the old Deepika? This one looks like Arjun's mother!) Everyone smiles but Mrinalini and Arjun, Deepika goes and touches Dadi's feet, she then goes and touches everyone's feet. Mrinalini says no no not my feet, Deeika says I did a lot of shopping and bought stuff like yours. Mrinalini goes to Arjun and says your wife is either blind or stupid, Arjun says it's the latter. Deepika says I was worried that I would not each in time, Vaishali says how would that be possible that we start without you. Deepika says I am ready, Vaishali says go put. Deepika is about to put haldi but Mrinalini stops her and says Deepika, I am the elder bahu of this house and therefore I will put haldi first. Everyone is surprised. Dev listens and puts his head down and thinks, Mrinalini takes the haldi and puts it on his feet and head and says is baar dulhan jo bhi ho Dev, shaadi nibha lena (this time whoever the bride is, fulfil the marraige). Vaishali tells all the other married woman to put haldi on Dev, the celebrations and song and dance start. Mrinalini sees Vaishali smile, and then says we have to go don't we? Vaishali says what excuse do we give Dadi, have you thought about it? Mrinalini says just watch. Dadi says ok it's over, now Birju take Dev inside.
Part 4
Birju takes Dev in and Mrinalini says I wanted to go to Vrindavan. dadi says Vrindavan? Mrinalini says yes there is that rasam in Shastriji's house where all the married women have to go and give blessings so I thought that I also go give blessings in the form of the sindoor. Deepika says but sindoor you....Mrinalini interrupts and says Deepika that is my problem, you don't tax your brain. Vivek, Arjun and Chacha are all surprised. Mrinalini says being the elder bahu, I have some responsibilities, after all it's Dev's wedding. Vivek smiles. Mrinalini says I will take Mummyji and the kuldevi sindoor as well. Someone announces that the boy's side has come, Devki greets both women and say you have come at an oppotune time, Radhika's gauriya rasam is going on. Vaishali says we know that's why we bought the kuldevi sindoor to put on our choti bahu. Radhika seems happy to hear that. Amma is surprised and watches. Mrinalini looks at her, Devki asks Vishaka to take them both in, she will finish the ritual and come. Vaishali says ok. Amma knows something is up. Devki meanwhile holds Radhika's hand and tells her bitiya tujhe sindoor lagane ka adhikaar milne wala hai, bhagvan kare tere sindoor ki chamak kabhi phiki na pade, jab woh sindoor teri maang me lagaye, toh tuh chaand taron se bhi zyaadaa zagmagaye (you will be getting the right to wear a sindoor, I pray to God that the color of your sindoor never fades, when he puts the sindoor on you, may you shine brighter than the moon and stars). Vishaka is thinking so this is what is in your mind and that's why you have come, but now whatever happens, I will not let you succeed, I will not let you take Radhika's rights from her.
