Mouni Roy may have gotten famous as a sari-clad bahu in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu but she quickly changed her traditional avatar for a more stylish one in the shows she later appeared in -- from Zara Nachke Dikha to Pati Patni Aur Woh to her upcoming Comedy Circus 3, which she is hosting.

"I don't know if I am good at comedy or not but I've always wanted to anchor (a show) because you get to wear great clothes!" Mouni smiles.

Mouni tells us the secret to her trendy look, and how to get as stylish as her.

She says she picked up her black halter neck gown from a shop called Forever 21 in the US. "I paid Rs 12,500 for the gown," she says. "My pink pump shoes are worth Rs 4,000. I got them from Dubai [ Images ]."

Completing the look is a diamond bracelet designed by Neeta Lulla and priced at Rs 70,000, and a ring costing Rs 2 lakh.

"Fashion is about being comfortable and stylish in what you wear," Mouni tells us.

Makeup plays an important role in getting the complete look too. "I wear a MAC kohl liner and a Body Shop lip balm. I prefer wearing only one accessory at a time -- either lots of bangles or glamorous earrings."

btw a dress from forever21 can never cost 12,500 rs. if so they ripped her off badly.

i was thinking: maybe she order it online? even in the states, we pay shipping and handling for online orders, so maybe the cost of the dress and international shipping cost that much??
actually, i as i type this, i realize that even still that's waaay off!

lols I LOVE forever 21...but there's no way anything there cost around 12,500 Rs...I think that's somewhere around $250-300 So either she's lying about the price to make it sound better because it's more expensive (I know people who do that) or she seriously got ripped off...

Ok that number is so incredibly fudged. I've never seen anything at Forever 21 for more then $50 when it comes to a dress like that and I am still pushing it. Either she is really misquoting or she got ripped off. Not sure how she could get ripped off though-there is a tag and it is the price you pay. Which for this dress couldn't have been more then $40-$50.
