This is the first time I have posted one of these, so bear with me.
I recently purchased and tried Freeman's Feeling Beautiful line's Facial clay mask in the Avocado and Oatmeal formula. This line is well-known for three things, being made from natural ingredients, budget-friendly, and not tested on animals.
The directions say to apply mask to face and neck, avoiding the eyes. Which is true of any mask, one should avoid the eye area. I used a medium-sized cosmetic brush and applied an even layer of the mask on my face. The product came out very easily from the tube, compared to other masks, and worn on the face, felt very refreshing when used after exfoliation. It looks like a thin film of light sea green color like this, when worn on the skin.
Then it says to let dry and rinse with warm water. So after about five minutes, I rinsed off the mask and dried with a face towel.
This product, states that it "purges pores" and "firms and smoothes skin." The ingredients are basically a base of clay mixed with avocado and oatmeal.
After washing off this product, I did see my pores look a lot smaller, and my face looked cleaner overall. My skin also felt smoother. It didn't really feel firm, but maybe that's just me.
Compared to other masks, it's not a bad deal. Here are my ratings:
Price: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ It gets three stars because for a six fluid ounce tube, it costs around three bucks without coupon. Very well-priced compared to other products of its type.
Fragrance: ⭐️⭐️ I only gave it two stars, the scent is mild and not unpleasant, but it's not as nice in comparison to other masks I have tried. If you do not like strong scents, then this one would be good for you.
Texture: ⭐️ It's very easy to apply, either with fingertips or with a brush, the product is quite soft and you dont have to struggle to get it out of the tube. It is softer than toothpaste. But I must say not as thick as other masks either.
Results: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ It says it cleans pores, skin will be smoother and softer and firm. Well, most of that was true. So it keeps most of its promise.
Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ This gets three stars from me based on overall performance. It felt calming when it was on, isn't too strong, and it isn't badly priced. Compared to other masks in a similar category it is a decent choice. I wouldn't go for this as my first choice, but I did like the results.
