Hi friends!

Karol Bagh is gaining its tempo! Its time for lil discussions n debates.
Simi's character in my opinion is not well defined. sometimes she acts intelligent and other times very stupid!
On the other hand Rajiv's character is evidently freaky, but no1 notices or says anything about it. Father, Rajinder Sethi is shown as an intelligent character, yet he doesn't see anything wrong with Rajiv!!! strange...strange!

If you take Anita n Anuj's angle...There are lot more confusions. Anuj is shown as self centred person...otherwise why will he not notice weird Bhalla. On top of that how stupid of him to accept 2 lakh worth diamond ring from that man!! He took it as if he is taking 2000 rupees hand loan. Either Anuj is too selfish or too stupid. i feel 2nd option is right.Till now they have not shown Anuj doing anything smart or saying anything intelligent.

So, lets start our discussion.

1. Rajiv Bhalla attempted rape. Its a big crime. How can Simi ignore that and marry him. Isnt she not a well educated person?? If she tries to hide this , then will it not be called crime too?

2. One more important question... Simi is older to Abhi, as per promos eventually she falls in love with Abhi. Many must be wondering about. But why a girl shud be always younger to the boy? Whats wrong if Simi falls in love with Abhi. We see many couples like this in real world too...famous or not famous! Love is love, why should anyone care about age? What do you all think? your point of view is welcome!

3. Why cant Rajinder Sethi see the true Rajiv Bhalla? He too like his wife, he just wants Simi to get married and go away... What do you all think, will it be him who stops the marriage? or Simi? If promos are to be believed then marriage shouldn't take place, then who breaks the marriage?

4. When will Simi come to know that Abhi is Anita's brother?? and how...

5. what do you think about Anita's character sketch?? Is she positive and who will adjust well with Sethis or she is like typical villains who takes her husband away from his parents?

6. Do you like Manju's character?? As a mother you think she is right in humiliating Simi many times about her weight and age? Have you seen anyone like her in real world?

Rape is a serious crime. But it goes unreported mostly as victim and her parents are always worried about family prestige. Simi will not report it just to save her family name. She also knows about rajiv anita's prsence in their house and he can use that to malign her dad's name.

2. One more important question... Simi is older to Abhi, as per promos eventually she falls in love with Abhi. Many must be wondering about. But why a girl shud be always younger to the boy? Whats wrong if Simi falls in love with Abhi. We see many couples like this in real world too...famous or not famous! Love is love, why should anyone care about age? What do you all think? your point of view is welcome!

Yup love is love and it should not matter who is older and who is younger. Here both are sensible ppl. Infact it can be an ideal couple since both are caring loving ppl who always think about others at the same time Abhi is fun loving while Simi very serious and always had to paly a role of a problem solver in their house. I am sure Abhi will make sure she gets what is due to her. Fun love and lots of laughs.

I hope Rajendra sethi wakes up and break this marriage which is an unholly union of 2 ppl who are totally mismatch. Simi is all ready to sacrifice herself for her family's name and anuj.

May be she will meet him in the pooja organized to bless the couple. Anita will introduce him to her.

Anita is a typical rich brat who does not know how real world works. I think both anuj and anita are immature ppl. They are not yet ready to get married, anita surely looks like the one who can break the house and takes away a son from the parents.

6. Do you like Manju's character?? As a mother you think she is right in humiliating Simi many times about her weight and age? Have you seen anyone like her in real world?
Yes I have seen girls get blamed for their misfortune, A mother should not curse and say bad things to her daughter, But it happens all the time as she is under pressure to think about all her children especially the children are close to marriage age and are forced to wait till their older sis get married. I think the blame should go to the social thinking. A mother feels helpless under the circumstances.

She is doing this for a good purpose, but it still is injustice.

By law it will really be a crime, but in God's eyes it will not be for her circumstances. ⭐️

I completely agree. A girl or boy does not have to be younger. 😡

But in the eyes of the DEGRADING society, a girl being younger in a pair is better.

I do not think he will stop the marriage

beause he is blind in the fact that Simi is still unmarried.

She had seemed trampy at first, but now she looks like a protonagist. 😉

She is blind like Simi's dad about the fact of Simi unmarried and I think
that she is doing injustice to her daughter by insulting her instead of supporting her. 😡

yes it is a crime but she wanted Anuj and Anita's wedding to take place..so she is totally helpless..and this is what her mother likes as well..

yes absolutely love is love and age is not a big problem nowadays..but still it has its effects on people..

I don't think it will be him who stops the marriage..maybe it is Abhi or Simi's mother as well..

i think she will adjust with time..Abhi will somehow convince her to do so!!

i think simi's biggest problem is that she is too fillial. she puts her family before herself. however i doubt a character such as simi exists in real life. well at least i hope not. no woman should ever go through what simi did nor should she keep quiet about it. yes i do think hiding an attempt to rape is a crime itself. it's a crime simi is commting against herself.

i think some people might have difficulty in accepting a younger man-older woman relationship because asian society in general are more conservative about such things than the western society. i personally have no problems with a romance like abhi-simi's. like you said love is love. love doesn't occur after analysing all the pros & cons. it just happens. as long as the couple in question are happy with each other why should anyone else have a problem with it? i support abhi-simi all the way. it's about time some people learn how to be more open-minded to unlikely romances. just because it's unlikely doesn't mean it's impossible.

rajinder sethi is being like a typical parent. he is so worried about marrying off his eldest daughter that he is somehow blind to all of rajiv's misdeeds. according to the precap on thursday rajinder tells simi that she doesn't need to marry rajiv. i guess the man finally saw the light. about who breaks the marriage? abhi is trying his best to do that but i think simi herself will stop the marriage, after all she's the only one who is being insistent on marrying rajiv now.

i guess this part is already over since abhi-simi ran into each other at the sethi household.😆

anita's character is a mystery to me. sometime i think she's a nice girl but sometimes i feel that she'll find it very hard to adjust to the middle-class sethi family. there is a possibilty that anita might turn negative later on. let's hope that the creators of Karol Bagh will make anita's character into something different than the typical vamp who is bent on destroying the sethi parivaar.

not at all. manju's character is one of the negative aspects of this serial. i don't get how a mother can be so cruel to her own daughter. i get it that manju is worried about simi's future but there are better ways to voice that concern than to hurt your daughter with harsh words.

i feel that one of the reasons why simi is always so deperessed is because her own mother who is supposed to be her daughter's pillar of strength is her biggest critic.😭 No, i haven't seen anyone like manju in real life & i don't ever want to. a mother should be her daughter's best friend not enemy.

Exactly y point...a mother should be like someone who gives her kids all the strength they need...all the support...and all the confidence...
Instead of like pillar of strenghth to her daughter...Manju is the main reason for Simi to lose all her confidence! and develop inferiority complex! how SAD...

Simi is the classic eldest daughter. She will sacrifice anything to make others happy. And her mother is pushing her towards that. Now that the truth about Rajeev is out, well, let's see what stance Manju will take. Till now, I haven't been too impressed with her character's development; she vents on Simi every time she is frustrated, and the way they lean on her to make decisions is truly appalling.

Anita's character has some promise. She seems very caring, if a little overly precious, and is happy to learn to adjust with the family. At the moment she is a little clueless, but the essentials seem promising. She loves Anuj despite knowing he isn't rich; let us see if after marriage, she becomes dissatisfied with the middle class life. I am interested to see if they will show her going out to work. I hope so.
