PriDa's Relationship - The Next Level .. - Page 4

Firstly, I loved the way you have analysed their relationship. I agree to most of the points you have said just coz the way u have supported them. So I dont have a lot to add.

The ddlj scene: I said in so many post yesterday( copy and paste😉) and will say it again is that it took me a little time to accept such a comfy scene bewteen Prida. For the obvious reason that they havnt been shown such before or their relationship was taken to that level so quickly that it took time to believe that it was real.

@ Niki - Thanks for replying 😊 Loved reading your take .. and yup, like you .. I too love the slight awkwardness they still have .. and just exchanging smiles and still talking from their eyes and smiles .. thats really sooo cute! And ofcourse, I'd love for them to have waited for some time before everything is revealed .. but guess not 😕 Avni is pregnant will be revealed soon .. and all hell will break loose! Though ofcouse .. in a way, I'm looking forward to it .. just to see how PriDa will react! 😃

And about the whole guilt thing .. and how he will be unable to stay away from Damini .. but has to .. awww .. bring it on! I sooo wanna see how they cope with all this!

I truly appreciate it 😊 And yeah .. not for a second did I feel Prithvi was over-expressive in that dress selection scene .. it was just too cute to see how these 2 react to one another after being engaged for a month or so. And OMGG .. I loved how you described the whole scenario .. of Prithvi breaking down in front of Damini .. and she consoling him! And you're soooo right .. Prithvi has a lot of pain bottled up inside of him .. which he obviously doesn't show his brothers coz he is the oldest. And it would be awessssome to see how he does share it all with Damini .. she becomes his anchor .. just like he was to her when she needed him! Awwww ... they just need to be together .. and truly, all will be fine! 😃

@ Sistu - Thanks for reading and replying .. appreciate it 😊 About the whole DDLJ scene .. I completly understand your POV .. and how it may have been difficult for some to adjust to the slightly new PriDa. My take to that is - sometimes, even though we don't see what transpired in the time frame of the leap .. we need to take it for granted what all must have happened. Like when we see 20 year leaps in shows .. initially it takes a while to get accustomed to new looks and new characters .. but eventually we go with the idea that so n so must have happened. In PriDa's case .. according to me, it has come about very realistically .. simply, coz in real life, if you see a couple who've just been engaged a month or so .. their level of comfort and interaction will be about this much what they showed of PriDa .. not too much, not too little! For such couples .. each day the comfort level increases bit by bit .. so, IMO .. what they showed of PriDa was a very natural progression of their relationship.

As for the hugging scenes and all .. yup, I do agree with you .. they would not get very physical with each other, keeping in mind their characters .. but they can't also be the 'touch-me-not' kinds 😆 .. coz that would be too awkward as well! They need to create a balance between it all.

And yes .. am with you on the part where Damini might just support Avni .. and Prithvi will support Damini .. as it is, for him .. its both ways! But ofcourse .. I wanna see Prithvi get really .. I mean REALLY angry at Sameer!

@bold: me too. I was expecting that during shaadi track of savni but he didnt get angry. Ab prithvi ko gusaa hona hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii hogaaaaaaaaa😆😆😆

Totally brings out the essence of Prida... theirs is one of the most realistic representations of 'having come a long way'

Touch wood, but so far in this show, the creatives have not messed up with Prida one bit.. they have retained the essence of their characters, totally, till now. ( With one exception, I hate to see Damini freezing up every time there is impending physical danger on her, why did they show her with guns and all, she has never used them.. khair, thats beside the point )

That apart, every single nuance, expression, emotion, is perfect. Prithvi is the one of the best male leads on Prime time TV today, without a doubt..and GK has not made one slip so far.

And Damini complements him beautiifully !! They are so natural in their performances, its a pleasure, to watch them.. and with discussions like the ones happening on this forum, the show becomes all the more riveting to see..
