judging ridiculous

the king had high expectations of the show but was miserably letdown by the pathetic judging by the choreographers.

round 1 : as harshal vittal said both had flaws in terms of quantity and quality. infact southern sizzlers concept was more clearer. but marks awarded was very much annoying.

round 2: again although the concept of north was good dancing was below par. while in case of south although concept was normal dancing n choreography was clearer better.

round 3: while north used only one dance form south used contemporary and folk. infact the contestant himself agreed he performed below par. don understand the duck which harshal vittal gave.

all in all judging was very disppointing.

I totally agree with you.The concept of DPL is nice and refreshing as it involves various mindset of people from all over India but seeing the judges it is a little letdown.

shaimak is the only sensible judge out there. all the others the less said the better.

It definitely seemed biased to me. especially the 2nd round... how does a team with the 'woman of the match' and a strong dancer - Madhan, loose to the girl who was criticized by every one of the judges for her sub par dancing?

by the end of it i was wishing for the southern team to have not been invited to join the DPL if they were going to be treated this way.

I agree the judging was ridiculous today without any reasonable comments by the judges. In the first round though South had less dance steps they were far better and cohesive in their dancing, in the same round Uttar ke puttar were good but a little behind Southern sizzlers as per performance...In the second round by far South was best then Uttar as they had so many dance steps and complexities. Didn't Howard say that zyaada dance tha isiliye first round went to Uttar. Then in the second round there was no comparison at all and South did well hands down. One can't jsut give marks based on an idea alone till it is delivered with brilliance (and I have seen this idea or concept before)....Third round I thought the Uttar guy did a little better, When the South music started I wanted to be blown away with the dhamakedaar choreography but it didn't happen so I wud give the third round to Uttar....But overall South I think did better....

I agree with *king*! Only Shaimak seems to be a sensible judge here. I completely agreed with him when he said that how can one give a zero to the performance? Ridiculous! The southern guy performed so well..infact the uttar solo dancer was not upto the par...I totally feel that these judges are biased..specially Howard..he was blindly giving very high marks to Pappy-Mallu's team .. 🤢 😵

naila, even I thought Howard seemed more inclined towards the uttar puttars...atleast Harshal and Vithal gave an explanation and corrected themselves but Howard seemed to behave that he knows what he is doing...tommorrows episode looks so good...especially the ghanan ghanan act from Lagaan...hopefully the full song is good not just the promo...

Hey desicrowd (sry i dunno ur name :$) I actually agree with what you said in your previous post that its too early to decide anything, but then yet again I personally didn't like their marking scheme for today *points at howard*😆 . Though, lets see whats in store, and we mite start liking the judges whom we are criticizing rite now 😉 . Oh, btw they didn't show the promo for tomo :S ..which team was performing on the lagaan song??
