I don't think you know anything about music becuase the songs he sang were really hard and only the ones who have learned classical singing could sing them. I would say Vinit has sung a few easy songs. And Hema doesn't suck. HE ROCKS!!!

Hema sings very effortlessly. Thats why the songs seem easy. I heard Amit Sana's saathiya. It was no where close to what Hema sang. Hema sang it so beautifully and effortlessly. I thought it had more energy than Sonu's version. I have heard Sonu's tumse milka in a concert. Also Rahul Vaidya had sung it in Indian Idol recently. They couldn't sing the song with as much energy as the original, but hema was able to sing it well. His Haye Rama, Woh Lamhe and Aye Ajnabi were awesome. None of these songs are easy. Even Gustakhiyan had a lot of high and low notes. He sang it well. When others sing, they make faces like they are really struggling to sing. Thats why the songs seem difficult.
Imagine if this kid can sing so well live, how good his playback versions would be?

Hema chooses relatively easy songs compared to Debojit and Vineet. But that absolutely does not mean he cannot sing hard songs. He did sing Hai rama very well. On the other hand Debojit attempts hard songs and kind of messes it (purely my opinion). Therefore irrespective of song selection I would say that Hema is a better singer than Debojit(only) technically.

shreya13, i personally think Vinit sang a few easy songs. The border song was easy,gustak dil was easy, and some more that i can't remember. If you think Hema sang easy songs, then try singing them yourself excatly the way he did. Do you think you can do it? On the other hand, yes Debu has picked hard songs some times and he messes up sightly.

They seem easy coz he sings them with ease!!
