hem's vande mataram was vry good think he deserved more than the 8 that he got.but must admit albeit a bit grudginly thatvinit made the least amount of mistakes today.hem's heart was not there in the first song from karma

Hemu (dil diya hai jaan bhi) - his voice sounded amazing
Vinit (ab tumhaare) - very good
Vinit (zindagi) - excellent
Debo (ae mere) - he sang beautifully
Debo (suno gaur se) - was good

Hem:

Hem messed up with 'Dil diya hai'. It sounded good, but he forgot words. While it's ok for would-be playback singers, it's not so excusable for a contestant in a musical competition.
He covered up for it with the brilliant 'Vande Mataram'. It's difficult to sing AR Rehman songs live and as Priyanka said Hem didn't falter once. Brilliant job.

Debojit:

His 'Ae mere pyare watan' was a treat. Most evocative song of the day. His voice was super, his sur was great. Brilliant.
He made up for that too, horrible singing with 'Suno gaur se'. Sur went all over, words went for a toss too. Mistakes galore.

Vineet:

Vineet was good. Great choice with 'Ab tumhare hawale'. He sang it well, not originally or anything, but well.
Same with 'Zindagi maut'. His type of song, and very well rendered. He wasn't outstandingly brilliant, but he wasn't very bad either.

Rating:

All three the same, with Vineet having a slight edge over the other two, because he didn't make mistakes.

But the best song of the day was Nihira and Himani's 'Ae mere watan ke logo'. Sur mai rehna to koi inse seekhe. Go girls! 😊
