Vinny is at home having breakfast with Shubha. He tells her that he is going to the bank for a loan. Shubha says he neednt do all this for her. He says he is doing it for himself. He is happy to stay in India rather than Canada. At Kamini's place Kamini assures Maaji that Pooja will stay with her and she will take care of her. Pooja also reassures her mom that all will be fine. Plus apart from Kamini she has other 'family' too. Pooja has to go the bank for some work and she says that on the way she will arrange for her mother's Dhanbad tickets.
Pooja comes across Vinny at the bank. Vinny is smitten by Pooja's simplicity and innocence. He fumbles around her and tries to strike up a conversation with her. Pooja is amused at it. Vinny is asked to sign some papers and he doesnt have a pen. He attempts to borrow one from a grumpy old man who has a pen but refuses to give him since he feel youngsters like Vinny are careless. Finally Pooja lends him one and its a fountain pen. Vinny ends up spilling the ink on the same old man's bright white shirt(at the back) but he doesnt notice it. Pooja and Vinny hold their breath and the man leaves. They end up having a hearty laugh. Vinny is obviously bowled over by Pooja.
Pooja takes her mother to Bubbly's house before dropping her at the station. Bubbly's family assures Maaji that Pooja will be alrite in Mumbai. Bubbly is fasting on ocassion of Karwa chauth. Pooja and her mom notice the amount of love between Bubbly and Mintoo(both are fasting for each other). Pooja is emotional that she would like to keep karwa chauth fast for her husband but her husband should also be worth it. Bubbly cheers her up.
Geeti is called by the principal to his office. Trisha is curious and she too follows Geeti out of the class(when the teacher's back is turned). The principal wants to rusticate Geeti from the college on grounds of her connection in Jassi murder case. Trisha who overhears this, intervenes and checkmates the principal by saying that he can land up in jail if he goes against the courts order as the court has released Geeti with all due respect in Jassi murder case. Hearing this he lets go off Geeti. Geeti and Trisha leave the office together looking thick as theives.
Pooja drops her mother at the station. She gives Maaji a mobile phone to keep in touch. Pooja gets off the train and she receives a call from Karan and she disconnects the phone. But she is stunned to see him in front of her at the station with luggage. Karan tells her that she is going to Dhanbad with her mother and will be back only after she returns to her marital home. He asks her not to make him wait long at Dhanbad. Pooja stands shocked.
Preview: Karan is stealing jewellery. Then he proceeds to strangulate someone.
Blooper: In Pooja's scene with Vinny she had her mangalsutra and sindoor on. But in other scenes she didnt.
