Hey guys

First of all, thank you admins for reading my sugg on the IF ladder, now i can make more suggestions, i had also made another sugg with the siggy box problem, but i'm sure that will be fixed too.

Anyways, here is my sugg:
I know its not a good thing, but i think we should be able to delete our accounts😳

I think we can already do that?

A deactivate option for ourselves would be cool, I know we've incorporated a lot of social networking stuff, esp from orkut and fb, so just snag the deactivate feature too? It's quite handy :)

Especially since a lot of people want to quit IF now a days.

Yes, please introduce a "delete account" feature. I mean sure I can be inactive and not post, but certain members can still get a hold of my IP address and all that jazz. Deleting account would take care of that (I assume, I ain't no tecchie) if you no longer feel inclined to come to IF. 😛

No ways!!!!!!

In another forum I have seen that thing been hit accidentally and thus having accounts deleted even when you don't want it to be deleted!!!!

It a higly risky button!!!!

i knew dear that it's highly risky but if the button will introduced inside the deshboard will realy help some ones as if some one does not want to use india-forums any more and also wanted to things shared in site will not be viewable to any then this will help as when they press delete account all details and posts Including bollycurry and blog site replys be removed so that we can see our forum more better then other.

i am web programmer by Profession so i completly agree with thinking of mohit and other peoples thought.

Off Being A Good Programmer What Thing We Have To Remember Is To Introduce Highly Risky Features In Good Way With No Intruptions or such a minor risk.

But they may have started FC and written fics!!!!!

The whole sequence of FC's cannot be spoiled just because someone wanted to delete his/her account!!!!!

Deactivating the account is fine but disappearance of all posts is going to be a major problem!!!!!

I do not approve of it at all!!!!

These things are supposed to stay archived here!!!!!!

ya i completely agree that FC Can Not Be Spoiled But That Was The Decission Of Admins As If They Did not Installed Removal Feature there Then Just Profile Still Can Be Deleted without Affect All Number Of Post. This way Login Details And Profile Area Are only Affected Forums Still Remains Not Deleted.

Like For My own Profile If I Have 25 Scrap, 2 Testi. , 15 Slam. And 5 Bookmarked Forums In My Forums Segment Then It Will Be Removed But My Name On the All Forums And posts Stil Stay There.
