Having dumped my tissue box alongwith some fifty soggy tissues ( need to keep a super saver pack ready as Nikki's state hurts like nothing worse these days ) , I am trying to see where Abhi , Nikki and that horrendously dressed in a red curtain cloth Jee-Ka-Janjaal Jiya Rani are standing and where they should go from here. π
I am sorry but Abhimanyu is no longer the Abhi we fell in love with. He did not have clay feet like this one and he had a solution - a sensible and sometimes insensible but brave solution to everything. I believe him with all my heart when he tells Nikki like a trapped rabbit that he loves Nikita more than his life and breathes a rare breath of relief as she hugs him in sheer emotional turmoil.... but the question is..... Is loving enough? Is a promise of a possible future together with no effort or hope in the present enough? Is the mere glimpse of the one you love enough to spend an entire lifetime enough?...... I think NO. Not in Nikki's case.As much as I try to sympathize with Abhimanyu.... I think NO.
Before Abhi chased Nikki around tables and pinned her to walls to leave no other door open for her except fall into his arms screaming I love you! I love you! .....before he promised stars and heaven to her... before he made her fall in love with him with a madness to an extent that it drained her out of any other emotion possible.... did he forget that he had a wife back home? Did he forget that it was fundamental to acquaint Nikki with his circumstances and situation before letting her take a single step towards him? It may appear as the eternally convenient 'fear of losing' but in the real world ... it is EMOTIONAL COWARDICE.
Today , when Nikita wants to get out of this vicious circle and move ahead in life, Abhimanyu should not even think of stopping her. You love her, right? Then , how can you tie her to a pole that is never going to move from it's place? How can you even tell her that you love her when you didn't have the courage to stand up for her? Nikki has every right to move out of this mess and sort out her life and mind - learn to smile and laugh again . If this tattered Nikita is what was to happen, then , she is better miles away from Abhimanyu.
Abhimanyu.... Loving is not enough. It never is. If you cannot stand up for the one you love at the right time , the right moment - it is a colossal waste- a humiliation of self and the one you love. You have failed the test of fire and your virtues and your love stand in the criminal circle.
I know there are a million explanations for Abhi's situation .... And i buy them but what I don't buy is Nikita's ruined state because of him.
Nikita did not deserve this..... definitely not Nikki.
