Vivan Leigh is probably one of my favorite actresses, and she is incredibly skinny so I don't see the correlation. Theoretically, I could see someone having maybe less energy but Kareena has always been quite animated. But I would still say Kajol is definitely a better actress and I think Karan has always had a soft spot for her too.

Thankfully, Kareena has gained some weight and done away with the raccoon eyes.

I totally agree with what you said about hamming. That is my biggest problem with Hrithik Roshan being hailed as such a great actor. Atleast Kareena had some subtle performances in Omkara and Dev. HR overacts so much and the critics (most of them) love him for it.
