"Since when have I decided that I'll go on a blind date?" Vaish asked her friends folding her arms, she looked at them sternly until one replied.
"He's Indian, your parents will be happy" one replied,
"I don't care If he's Indian, Chinese or freaking Russian… I don't want a boy-friend" she sighed shaking her head, why couldn't they understand that not everyone wants a boyfriend on their 15th birthdays.
One of her friends came to her bedroom door panting, "Vaish, I think you might wanna go on this date" she looked at her friend raising her eye-brows, "I don't think so Lara" her friend sighed and got hold of Vaish's hand and dragged her to the door.
"he looks exactly like Shahid kapoor" Vaish rolled her eyes,
"yeah coz that's possible.. Shahid Kapoor would come to my house to take me on a date" she replied,
"Believe me.. he can.." the other girls nodded agreeing with what Lara said, "We entered you in a competition as part of the Dil Bole Hadippa promotions…surprise" she said exaggerating again, "Please. Please. Please. Can you just go, I'm jealous.. I wish I had Shahid Kapoor and his little entourage waiting for me outside my door"
"Is it really Shahid?" asked Vaish nervously, everyone nodded she let out a scream and jumped, "I love you guys sooo soo soo much" she said hugging everyone quickly before running into the bathroom to change.
"So.. Vaish..uhm.. you look beautiful tonight" said Shahid hesitantly, he didn't think he'd be going out on a date with a 15 year old and from the look on her face she was excited and scared, all he wanted to do was lighten the air.
"Thanks…youlookreallygoodtoo" she said the end in one breath, he chuckled and let out his million dollar smile. "Tumhein itna nervous hona nahin chaiye" he said,
"But your.. Shahid Kapoor..THE SHAHID KAPOOR..thoda sa nervous to hona hi chaiye" she said nervously and he laughed,
"Once upon a time I used to be in your position" he said, the music changed and on came Dil Bole Hadippas Ishq hi Rab hain,
"You looked soo sooo sooo HOT… in this song.. the kurta and all" she said going into drooling mode, he again laughed and thanked her.
"Wanna dance?" he asked putting his hand out, she looked at him shocked and dropped her fork as she nodded, taking his hand he led her to the middle of the dance floor.
The whole place was decorated in red material and fairy lights. As they swung from side to side she couldn't help but smile, she was dancing with Shahid Kapoor.
"I love my friends" she thought, thanking them for the gift.
"Vaish?" he asked softly, she looked up "I Love you?" he said, and her mouth hung open,
"WHAT?" she said, the next thing she knew she was sitting in bed, In her room with no sight of Shahid Kapoor.
"gah, how come dreams don't become reality?" she said sighing and looking up at her wall, there stood a life like cut out of Shahid.
"Happy Birthday Vaish" he spoke, shaking her head she looked around and no one was there, she sighed and lay back in bed…again closing her eyes and there he popped up again, right back where she left of.
