Prabhjot tells Omi that she has seen herself how Amro and Saru tease Goldie about lack of dowry. Omi refuse to believe it. Goldie says tomorrow is Krvachauth, where you will see yourself how Mommyji and Parjai will taunt me because Bebo has now come back here. Mehto comes to call Prabhjot and Goldie for Mehndi. They leave the room while Omi is confused.
Many neighborhood women are gathered in the living room of Narang house ready to put on mehndi. Bebo, who is sad is also there. Chaiji puts shagun Mehndi on Amro's hands and gives her permission to put on Mehndi on other women hands. One woman says first we will put Mehndi on bebo's hands as tomorrow is her first Karvachauth. Bebo is sad. Amro tries to console her. That woman says it is good that a girl celebrates her first Karvachauth in her Maayka, as in this way her husband has to come to his sasural to break the fast. Another women start to put Mehndi on Bebo's hands. The first woman tells her to writ Amrit's name on Bebo's hands. Bebo is not paying attention to the mehndi and remembering how Amrit left her in this house.
A girl asks who else wants to put on mehndi? Prabhjot wants to put on mehndi. Just then Amro tells Saru to leave the work and put on mehndi. Prabhjot gets jealous.
Kuku and the brothers are sitting on the dining table. Kuku is really tensed. Amro tells Prabhjot and Goldie to sit down to eat. Kuku asks Mehto has Bebo eaten any food? Mahto replies no she hasn't. She will eat after putting Mehndi on her hands, after all it is her first Karvachauth. Kuku says yes it is her first Karvachauth, and leaves the table.
Bebo is on the terrace, crying and remembering the good times she shared with Amrit (Am-Bo scenes are repeated while sad song is playing). Amrit is shown lying on his bed also remembering Bebo.
In Amrit's house, Maro gives Sargi to Gursheel. Gursheel says Amrit should not know that today is Karvachauth or his heart will melt for Bebo and we will not get his salary. Amrit is lying on the bed thinking. He turns and touches the side Bebo used to sleep while remembering her (sad music playing). He gets up to drink water and see that the jug is empty. He goes down to get water. Gursheel and Maro sensing Amrit's arrival, hide their plates and pretend that they are worried on this Amrit-Bebo situation and hence been unable to sleep. Amrit takes jug of water and Gursheel sends him back to his room. Amrit does not know tomorrow is Karvachauth.
In Narang house, Bebo is sitting in front of dressing table looking at Amrit's picture. She puts on Mangal sutra and looks at her hands where Amrit's name is written in Mehndi.
All the ladies of Narang family are in the living room. Amro gives sargi to Saru, Prabhjot and goldie. Goldie asks Pammi buaji that you don't keep this karvachauth fast? Buaji gets sad and embarrassed and says that for whom shall I fast? I don't have any hope that someone will come and break my fast. Bebo also has come downstairs. Amro gives her sargi too. Kuku is watching from the floor above. Amro says to bebo that you know why this Karvachauth is so tough? It is because it is not a fast but a prayer that every married woman does for her husband and asks God to give her strength and courage so that she faces every obstacle and problem that comes in the her husband's way. It is a promise between her and God that her husband remains all right always. Bebo says Mommyji when Amrit will come to know that I have kept the fast of Karvachauth for him and have not eaten anything and will break my fast with his hands only, he will come won't he? (Very emotional……. Amrit Please come your Bebo is waiting for you) Everyone is crying. Bebo says Amrit will come and will make me drink eat food from his own hands won't he mommyji? She hugs Amro while Kuku wipes his tears.
In Amrit's house, maro and gursheel at the dining table. When Amrit comes down, Gursheel and Maro start their drama of lack of money and difficulties to run a house while Amrit listens. Gursheel asks Amrit that even though he left the job in the middle, he will get salary won't he? Amrit says yes whenever I get my salary, I will give it to you. Gursheel gets happy and asks Amrit for breakfast which he refuses. Gursheel tells Maro that it is sure that I will get Amrit's salary for this month while next month we will be in Narang house. Maro tells her to share this happiness with Babloo too. Gursheel goes to Babloo's room to call him while he is not there. Gursheel gets curious where does Babloo go from time to time without telling anyone?
