October 07, 2009, (Sawf News) - After putting up with the relentless Delhi heat, Sonam and the Aisha team moved to the salubrious environs of Rishikesh for the next schedule of the Rajshri Ojha helmed period drama. The team arrived in Rishikesh just yesterday and Sonam can't stop gushing over the place. Her first tweet was: Hrishikesh is beautiful, the air is clean, the trees greener and the view.. Spectacular.. I have to buy a house in the mountains.. She then posted a picturesque view of the hills and river from her room window followed by multiple pictures of her day out hiking, rafting and kayaking. She seems to be so enjoying herself in all the pictures. Sonam combined fun with some religious rituals: Did the aarti yesterday at shivpuri, its so beautiful.Dipped in the ganga,it truly is an holy experience, fully lives up to the expectations.. In contrast, while in Delhi her messages would often be like: Hot hot hot, shooting outdoors is so exhausting! So hot so hot so hot... Heat and indian clothes so not a good combination.

Anil Kapoor Productions' Aisha features Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol as leads with Arunoday Singh, Cyrus Sahukar, Ira Dubey, Lisa Haydon and Amrita Puri as supporting cast. Costumes are designed by Pernia Qureshi. Karan Boolani is the associate director and Shruthi the art director. The film is an adaptation of Jane Austen's 1815 novel Emma.

It's not a period drama...I would have liked it to be a period drama.
