Hiten has got trapped

He told his father that he lives in the past. To which his father said he has lived his life and his children are grwn up but Hiten has got his life before him. To which Hiten replied that Santu has got her whole life before her. To which his father did not reply. Because the reply to this line of arguement has already been given by his father in a previous episode. When he told kadambari and Sashank that Santu is very young and he is too old Santu has got her whole life before her and his marriage was a mistake and she is a Bandini and he must free her so that she can lead her life. He has nothing to offer in marriage as marriages go because of his association with Subhadra the woman he loved married and the mother of his children. Now in the evening of his life however fatal his attraction for Santu may be or may be not he cannot bind her to him.

Santu has no experience. No education ,exposure The first man in her life that too in the shape of a husband and such a powerful one. no wonder she has fallen flat for him.Santu must be allowed to go and see life and then come back. In real life young women tied to older husbands have no chanse. They end up as handmaindens for old husbands when the first few euphoric short years of marriage are over ..

Let Dharamraj and Santu have an idealistic relationship. After all a seial is supposed to transport you into dreamy regions far away from reality so that we can also forget the mundane humdrum of life for a bit.

I hope DM will love Santu unconditionally....poor thing has suffered so much..

Personally, I feel it was more cruel making her the mother of three children older than herself than making her the wife of DM but then the 'mother' is always revered in our societies. Having made her the mother of those kids and making her suffer in the process of getting their approval, it is high time she also gets her long overdue status as DM's wife.
