The article states:

The release date of New Moon is 20 November 09. Speculations says that the studios doesnt want to hire Taylor Lautner as jacob. The budget of New Moon has been increased to $50 million

We really dont know how much truth this article holds. But it will be really unfair to recast Taylor.I am not a Jacob fan but I like Taylor. According to the book Jacob must look 25 and be almost 7 feet tall which Taylor isnt..I guess that is why they are thinking to recast him.😕 Taylor has such a cute baby face and they need someone who would look older.The fans of Twilight already know Taylor as Jacob, so if they recast Jacob, then it'll not only confuse the fans, but also anger them.

I would love if New Moon is out by 20 Nov 09, but I think they are rushing the release date..C'mon the shoot havent started and the director is not confirmed. 😕

I wont judge Chrius Weitz as i havent seen the Golden Compass..Twilight series is a hit franchise..whoever steps into, it is guarenteed a $100 million gross.Summit should definitely think about the fans before taking any step.
