War:Anu/Sonu vs Farah 4 Meenal

No reality show is complete without its share of controversies. With Fame Gurukul setting the trend, how could its sibling Indian Idol be left behind?

In recent developments, it has transpired that the three judges Sonu Nigam, Farah Khan and Anu Malik are fighting a cold war. Sometimes the spats are caught on camera and at others it's limited to people on the sets. One such set person brings us the tidbits.

More than often, the three like to disagree with each other which results into a debate of sorts. But this time, the debate reached an all time high when they were shooting for tonight's episode. The shoot was happening at Jeevan Silk Mills, Andheri on Friday. The schedule began with contestant Meenal Jain's performance. "Anu Malik appreciated her performance and so did Sonu Nigam. However, Khan disagreed with the duo and pointed out that the contestant was not expressing herself well, and she said – 'It looks like you are not enjoying your performance'," says a source.

The episode was proceeding normally until Nigam interrupted Khan and insisted that Jain's performance was good. Our source adds, "This put off Khan. She fumed, and let out words like, 'Do I interrupt when you comment on the contestants?' The judges have grown to get accustomed to these hostilities but the argument disturbed Jain.



Well this kind of behaviour of judges may take effects on contestants performance... Poor meenal She is such a brilliant singer she should be in next gala..... plz people vote for her i am from pakistan i wish we could vote ......

I really like Meenal 2.She is a gr8 singer.

I don't know what Farah expects Meenal to do the last time also she commented about stage performance if they keep fighting like this they will confuse the audience and the votes might not go in favour of Meenal. 😕

And God forbid, if Meenal is voted out we might end up with Neha,Jolly and Yashashree 🤢

Oh u r right.Wonder wats wrong with Farah.She usually doesnt make such comments.she said the same thing abt Sagar last time and he got voted out.She usually doesnt make such comments.suddenly she started feeling tht she knows better than Sonu and anu in music????????Poor Meenal.yeah I know just Imagine top3 Ravi Tripathi,Neha Kakkar and Jolly das.Tht day I will stop watching II.Or maybe I will watch it 4 Sonu

yeah i too don't want meenal to get out of the show, at least not until she is on the top two or maybe three among the girls. lets just hope farah's comment doesn't make much difference on the votes she gets as it did with sagar.

I would somewhat agree with Farah Khan, even though I do like Meenal. I was surprised at Sohail's judgement,as he was spot on about what Meenal was wearing. She indeed was ristricted with the skirt. The song is so uptempo, that you really have to move.

Farah said to sonu & Anu in case of performance only....

Eventhough her fav was sagar she said abt him too....so I think she is not biased at all...She said reagrding performance only...

In Indian idol show performance is also considered & that way Yeshahree & meenal were weak....Also MONALI was weak for bad throat liek karunya last time.....
