Chapter 1
Gunjan's POV
It had been a disastrous day for me.Dont ask why,when or how.First,I got this very terrible news about the Verve renewing assignment in just a week.I hate my new boss.he's so jumping with joy.hey ,Im quite dosent mean that I like everyone.It's been 2 years to college and here i am ,perfectly settled down in my flat while my sister Nupur Di Stays in her own next to me.Di as i knew she would became a famous fashion designer.We lived a perfect spinster life,sharing dinner and sometimes sleepovers.My life was completely perfect.I mean,almost perfect .Because he wasn't there.My prince charming,the one who loved me and could see through my glasses.Who was now lost in the sky.
I and Samrat were together until a year ago.we loved each other immensely,and could not live without each other.He was my strength,and I was his.We were a balanced equation.One day,Samrat's job took him to France.The plane crashed into a jungle and Samrat was lost.We couldn't even find his body.I couldn't even see my Samrat for the last time.I had faith on our love,and knew he would come one day.But time heals all injuries and now my faith had faded,leaving only traces of our love.
So I decided to move ahead in life but it's hard.He was my soul.An integral part of my life.As i walked into my room today and opened a cupboard to remove my old files,a picture fell out .I picked it up.It was a picture of me and him on our last day.I looked longingly at his smile,his eyes gazing into mine,all the distances broken and we were standing close face-to-face.Tears welled up my eyes but I soon got control and went ahead with my work.
Mayank's POV
I walked out of my cabin of the Intel Inside company.It took me only two years to become the CEO of the company in India.I was heading home,and bid adieu and goodnight to my colleagues.As i threw my suitcase lazily at the backseat of my Porsche and searched for my keys.I Couldn't find them.then a hand came in front of my face holding the keys.It was a girl's hand.She was longingly smiling at me and her eyes had me all to her.Lost in her eyes,i asked her for the keys.Nupur didn't give it that easily.She dodged me for a long time.Then suddenly she tripped over a stone and was about to fall.I caught her in my arms. The first time we met was like this too.Then she vanished.It was a dream.A pure dream.I knew Nupur would never come back.She had gone forever.
Nupur was my sweetest pleasure.She loved me and I loved her back.My filmy nupur was the only one who could handle me.We were the perfect couple.Until one day,I was waiting for Nupur in the club on our date.Nupur was as usual late.I was waiting for her when I saw a girl being tricked into alcohol by her friends.I saved her from those guys but the alcohol had it's effect and she fainted in my arms.I had no feelings for her surely.But then i had to take her home when the club manager ordered.She slept on my bed while I slept on the sofa that night.Nothing happened and the next morning I told her the incident and she thanked me for my timely help.She was new to college,I found out.We became fast friends,much to the dislike of Nupur whom I didn't answer when she asked where did I go on our date that night.One day,while I was talking to her in private,this topic came up and we had a good laugh on it.But Nupur was standing behind us and misinterpreted our talk.She said I had betrayed her love and trust and left me forever.i tried to explain to her many times,but she wouldn't listen.Then we graduated,and I didn't see her,only her spirit roaming around me.I like every other day got into the car and drove off,trying to overcome the pain in my heart
Nupur's POV
"Gunjan!",I shouted."the food's ready!""Coming Di!Im on the last page.Just come here and see how this sample looks,please!""My God,will this girl ever take a break from her work!Mice are running in my stomach and this girl is like 'last page,last page!'. What shall I do?"I came to Gunjan's study.It was well furnished and the furniture was made of wood.the yellow lamp-light shined over the worn-out terrible-looking Gunjan.I pitied on her and pushed the strands of hair on her face back.Then I reviewed her Presentation.Gunjan said I was her best critic.I opened the folder.The theme was "College Love-Attraction,Crush or Pure love?"The first thing I remembered is Mayank.Mayank Sharma.Sorry,Mayank "heart breaker" Sharma.The guy who broke me to bits before I could stand up.The Guy who was my dream man,my life,my love,My Raj.He was everything to me who broke all my dreams.I can never forget him,he is always in front of me-The present CEO in Intel,he must be having some equally rich girlfriend and must have forgotten me.But He has always been a part of my memories.The source of my Smiles as well as tears.how could I forget his warm arms in which I used to fall and forget myself?His smile,the most heavenly addiction for me?His eyes,the most loving look for me?How he had betrayed me.I felt like throwing the file in misery,but then I couldn't ruin gunjan's project.I looked through it.It was quite impressive indeed.IT brought me the nostalgia of Excel college,The confession,the first kiss and his heavenly touch.........
"Di! How is it ?",asked Gunjan,impatiently seeing me speechless.I replied in a cracking voice,"G-G-Good,Ve-r-ry G-Good!Now shall i put down the food?"Gunjan nodded.I ran out of the room to hide my tears.I didn't want to upset Gunjan.She had already lost her love too.I had to be her support,not she mine.
