It's sooo annoying when Aditya refers to Antara as 'meri beti'

'Pata nahi ye duniya meri beti ko kab...' whatever the rest of the sentence was.

Vidya is trying soooooooooo hard to forget what Aditya did, but the goofball keeps reminding her of the incident by saying 'meri beti'

Would it really kill him to just say her name??😡

The reason why Adi is saying this now is since Vid told him that he will have to take care of Antara alone. It will take some time for Vid to overcome her anger and accept Antara whole heartedly. Adi too will then stop saying meri beti.

Actually I dont think Adit is really emphasizing the fact that Antara is his daughter and not Vidya's. It could be that he is a bit more protective towards this kid who is his and special at that. He wants the best for her always and one thing is acceptance on the part of society. I would like to believe its more of an endearment 'meri beti' just like Vidya says 'mere bachche'. I think they are both cute ways of referring to your children.

you know something i don't like the character of aditya he is selfish & to be honest i just do not like this guys acting, he is so wooden,expressionless
aditya is so selfish meri beti, then what's vidya a nanny silly man, the shameless man says so proudly my beti, excuse me mate she is the result of your desperation & unfaithfulness.
so no need to to stick your chest out & proudly annouce my beti in front of your mrs, infact you should go & commit sucide in shame

plus i can't stand the way producers have gone overboard with autistic storyline, i used to work with autistic children for 2 years & none of them went overboard like antra, especially when she waills.
they make her look like a junglee & ap[pears to be more mentally disturbed than autistic & i am saying this after showing my auntie an episode, where she was wailing like a mentally unstable person & my auntie specialises in autisim & has worked in this field for 20 years.
she finds the show over the top & antra's behaviour highly exaggerated for viewership masala, that part always annoyed me & now after speaking to my auntie it makes cringe, in restaurantr there was not too much noise for her to go over the top
with vidya & her tv crew that was way over the & aditya standing there like a hero made me laugh
anyway i would rather have more of vid then adit & would like request producers to please, to keep you non actor male lead in sidelines & make the female more cenetric, as she can act, has screen presence & she is brilliant actress

This profile id is here 4 only criticizing the male lead (Aditya).

I think he went 4 auditions 4 playing the character of Adi n couldn't make it.

So he is pouring out all his frustration.

Have u ever seen Ekta Kapoor's stupid serials. Do u find the behaviour of the characters normal in her shows.

I guess u r fan of such shows.

Autistic behaviour may vary from person 2 person.

And yes u haven't understood Adi's character in the show, yes he was faithful but he loves Vidya more than his life.

He is a loving husband.No doubt , he yells n screams now n then but loves vidya from his heart.He is clean-hearted person.

Its better 2 have yelling n loving husband rather than 2 have sweet n non-loving.

Well, at first Aditya would say meri beti because Vidya told his to take care of his child himself. Plus even before the fight, she would refer to Antara as his child herself. Now, she's really starting to love and accept Antara as her child, and Aditya is noticing it too. He will also stop calling Antara his child once Vidya is fully comfortable with the idea of Antara being her daughter. Like in today's episode Vidya was referring to Antara as her child, and she started crying and getting upset at thai-ji for slapping her child. Aditya noticed this, and he will also call Antara humari beti soon.

Actually, though I just thought of something: Even my mom will say "mere bacche", "meri beti", etc, but that doesn't mean we're not my dad's children too. It's just something people say.

I must say Sajibabe, you have a very valid point there..and yea..ur rite..the creatives ARE exaggerating. I have seen autistic kids before and ive read about them too..they dont seem to react like that at all.. and Deepika, every autistic child is different,yes, but not THAT different that their symtoms are at such a great intensity compared to others. But aditya's character is a little unnerving..imagine a man yelling at you, poking all the wrong nerves almost every time, and constantly reminding u of his betrayall and then, he says 'sorry' and expects u 2 forgive him..kinda..like hes demeaning u..like u hav no feelings..he expects the world to understand his position, how hard it is..but cant seem to understand what the world is going thru (by world, i mean vidya, esp)..he wants his hurt and anger to be known to the world..and when vidya has her out burst, he makes it seem like hez the innocent lil guy who got scolded for nothing..its selfish..annoying..i cant believe any woman could take that..and vidya IS and he keeps pushing her over the edge! its sooooo freakin irritating to see the person who committed the sin yell at those who are bearing the consequence!! they shuld do sumthing abt that.. I am not saying his acting sux (as u can see, i feel strongly abt his attitude..so he must be potraying it well rite??)its just his attitude...i wish the creatives could make him a little more..less impulsive..then,the show would be more pleasant..with antra in the centre instead of their relationship!! :)
