Firstly, I compliment you on your avatar.

Second, I agree with your analysis.

Finally, I hope people on this thread come up with ideas regarding how the SaReGaMaPa show can now work towards getting back its reputation.

Writers may be the fans of any of the singers who have been on the show. The focus must only be to take the show away from regionalism, mentor moodiness, false praise and patronizing towards genuine-good appreciation. After all, it can only be good musical programs that will teach music appreciation to a new generation of learners.

Theres no doubt about the singing quality of Vinit and Himani.
Debojit can not touch that whatever he does.....

Infact Debo should heve been voted out when Nihira got out. but whatever the reason....debojit managed to reach top 3 now....

But still i wud say...its clear choice ..

2.HEMACHANDAR
3.DEBOJIT

Himani cant be compared with any of these contestant cuz she is above all of them. even vinit is not close to her stature as for as singing quality is concerned.

The truth is that Debo has used the family/ emotional card for too long. Now it has come to the point that with this kind of stuff the credibility of the SareGaMAPa show has been sullied to the level of Jerry Springer show.

Regional biases, within audience conflicts, mentor moodiness, Terrorist threats...... it is all going down the drain. Debo has to go now and people have to ensure that. That will be the beginning of the redemption process at Saregama.

In that context, it was right for the 3 contestants to see what others are failing to see. The is not the soul of SareGaMa. They wanted to contest on SareGaMa which is not any longer. The downslide started with SareGaMa trying to compete with/ copy Fame Gurukul. They both had their strengths and could have maintained their respective identities.

This is PV based show everyone knows that.. The most irritating thing on Saregamapa was Vinit's love story.. so based on your contorted logic above Vinit should be the last ...

Deal with the public votes.. if you don;t like it .. dont watch the show simple..

IF YOU THINK HIMANI is good..nothing wrong.. she is good compared to herself.. If you start benchmarking her songs against the original tracks.. that is when you know where Himani stands..

Try running Himani's " Ude Jaisi Hawaein" on the original track..and you will know why she is a limited Singer..
There is definetely one thing which she has which others girls don't .. she could sing for the heroes.. with her voice..
