Rin,
I totally agree with Jassie and Fizzles.
What I think is Armaan understood why Bharti behaved that way on that Navratri night. He could see something in her eyes. He is confused whether it is love or something else, but he surely understood that Bharti is possesive over him (may be as a friend).
He knows that Bharti is childish and this type of behavior can bring a good lot of problems in future. Bhaskar is his good friend and Bharti is his wife.
It is not bad to be a friend of a married woman, he accepted that as well. You remember in the dinner date Armaan asked Bharti to remain his friend for ever? He loves her but he was controlling his emotions.
But now, when he can see the same possessiveness in Bharti's eyes, he is afraid. It is not easy to control your emotions when you know that the person you love has some special feelings for you.
He is a gentleman, he cannot betray his friend Bhaskar. So he said that they can't be friends anymore. He is afraid, if they become friends again, it will be really difficult for him to control his emotions. If you remember when Armaan and Bharti met, Armaan was looking into Bharti's eyes, and he understood that Bharti is not ignorant about him. That's why he said "I don't understand you Bharti, what do you really want?"
So I think in the future Armaan will try to avoid Bharti. It is possible that he will try to make friendship with Payal. I don't blame him. It is not good to love somebody who is married you know😉, and "ek larka larki kabhi dost nahi ho sakte", so he caanot be a friend of a married woman. He loves her, it difficult for him to hide his love.
May be in future Armaan and Payal will come closer, which will make Bharti realize that she loves Armaan. So be prepared for more ArPa scenes.
